dryer. If the dryer starts, the complete door needs to be replaced with a new redesigned door.
The new door has a protruding emboss that will press against the door switch. If pressing the

or restricted. This may contribute to poor dry performance, water droplets under the door, fogging or
condensation in top control display, or non-functional display. On dishwashers with custom panels
(identified by II at the end of the model number), the panel may swell or become damaged do to
moisture. Follow these instructions to ensure proper venting.

This sounds like you have a part of your defrost system is defective. What is happening is the unit defrost heater should come on 3-4 times in a 24-hour period to defrost your evaporator. When the defrost system is not working and misses 6-10 defrost cycles, the evaporator becomes a solid block of frost and the unit will not cool in either section. That is why when you shut it off for 24 hours and turn it back on the unit cools normal again for the 2-3 days. To diagnose the defrost system see the steps below. To enter Forced defrost, first press and release “ACTIVATE
CONTROLS”, then press and hold “HIGHER” pad, then press and hold “DISPLAY OFF” pad until you get an
audible consisting of three beeps.
This causes the control to immediately suspend all temperature control operations and start a defrost cycle, regardless of compressor dwell time and defrost start delay.
If defrost terminator temperature is satisfied defrost heaters will come on at this time for a normal defrost cycle.
Forced defrost will terminate when defrost terminator opens (completion of cycle defrost) or if forced pull-down is initiated or if there is a long power loss..
When forced defrost is initiated the temperature numbers are replaced with “dEF” in the seven segment displays, as
shown above. When defrost is complete the displayed “dEF” will again be replaced with displayed temperature numerals.

Hi. I have not seen frost build up in the air passage to for the ice maker in the freezer. I could not find a service manual on your exact unit, but I have attached one for a similar unit. IT sounds like you may have a condensation issue. Too much moisture or warm air is able to enter into the freezer section causing the frost build up.

Hello
There are no service bulletins on this model for the inlet tube freezing. When you have the inlet, tube freezing, and you do not have an inlet tube heater, you have low water pressure velocity through the tube causing the water to freeze. There are two valves on this unit a primary valve WPW10498990 and a Secondary dual water inlet valve for the icemaker and dispenser WP2188785 . Have you replaced both valves? Also, the water filter is in series and if it is partially plugged can cause low water pressure. Look at the amount of water in the ice maker after it goes through the harvest cycle. It should have approximately 1/2 inch of water across all fingers. I always start from the saddle valve in the basement and work forward. Matt Ace technician

See the diagnostic guide and the wireing diagram. There is no question you have a dead short to ground. I would start by shutting of the power and removing the bake and Broil elements. Then make sure the terminals have good connections and none are shorted to the case. We have had terminals with bad connections burn off the element and touch the case for dead shorts. Hi. I have attached the service manual for your unit. There should be a release on the door latch. If you remove the top panel and pull the release on the door lock it will unlock. If the unit is staying locked because the water is not draining ou, you can manually drain the water out and the unit should unlock on its own.
