Hello
See the links below in wireing diagram and pump diagnostics and replacement. I also provided a link to the complete parts breakdown list for your Bosch SHE68T52UC/02 series dishwasher. The BLDC (Brushless DC) 9-vane drain pump has variable speed and direction. The power control module controls pump speed and direction, detects end of draining and blocked rotor and corrects locked rotor condition. Matt Ace technician

Hi. I have attached the service manual on a similar unit. Take a look at page 6. This might be the power up alarm and you will need to press the alarm off button. Or you may have hit the switch for the showroom mode. This switch is in the condenser compartment near the power switch it looks like. You may have hit this switch when you were cleaning the condenser.

Hi. I have attached the fast track tech sheet for you on this unit. That is strange that you could not get the freezer into defrost mode, but If the freezer is working find I would not be concerned too much about it. Did the refrigerator start defrosting when you forced the defrost? If not, then you have a faulty fuse or heater. If it did then you could have a bad defrost sensor or control board. I would assume and start with the sensor. Or, you could have a clogged drain, which if you do, you should have a sheet of ice and or water on the floor or the refrigerator. That would be a sure sign of a clogged drain tube. It looks like you can get each defrost part separate ( some models you have to order the evaporator assembly) or you can get all of your defrost components by ordering the evaporator assembly. You may want to look into the whole assembly depending on what part you need and the cost.
