You provided an incomplete/invalid model number, however the GSD series is quite old. You will want to see if the motor-pump mechanism is running. If so then you most likely have a drain obstruction. You also may have a bad drain solenoid. Be sure that a new disposal wasn’t just installed without the knock out plug removed. I have attached a couple of videos of a Hotpoint dishwasher which was made by GE and has the same drain system and motor-pump as you have in your GSD model and of a GE dishwasher drain solenoid replacement which will also be the same as the GSD model.

Hi. you are on the right track. If the heater and defrost t-stat are good, then your sensor or control board are faulty. It is more common for the defrost sensor on the evaporator to be faulty. I have attached 2 service manuals that are similar to your unit. There, you will find how to test your sensor. If you find the sensor to be with in range and end up replacing the control board, I would still recommend replacing the sensor as well.

Hello
The F6 E8 error is a Lost communications with Microwave Oven Appliance Manager. There is not a servive bulletin currently for this error. There is only only one service for this product and it is a E1 FO erroer not related to your issue. The diagnostic procedure is on page #7 for your F6 E8 error. I would take this step by step and pin out the board as directed in the technician sheet below. It sounds like it may be a UI board if you have replaced the appliance manager. But allways go through the diagnostic procedure to be sure it is a correct diagnosis. Matt Ace technician
Before proceeding, verify the error code by pressing CANCEL>CANCEL>START to enter the Diagnostics Mode, then pressing the numeric “3” or “6” keys until the error code screen is shown.

Hi. I do see that the EE error code is not listed in the tech sheet. I have done some research and found that even if you call Frigidaire they do not have any information on this error code. I have also found a few different documents that say this error code is related to either the control board or touch pad. One of these two parts are faulty. I would guess that the touch panel is more likely the faulty part. You could order the part from a company that allows returns on installed parts incase it does not fix the problem.

Hello
See the complete technician link below . Matt Ace technician
The F3E2 error is a few possibilities :
1) Oven sensor opened
2) Oven sensor shorted
3) BAKE/BROIL range over temperature CLEAN range over temperature.
Diagnostic procedure
1) Press CANCEL>CANCEL>START to enter the Diagnostics Mode. Verify the sensor
temperature reading is at room temperature (typically 50 to 90°F [10 to 32.2°C]) and verify
failure code. If failure code does match, then continue.
2. Unplug range or disconnect power.
3. Check all sensor connections on harness and board.
4. Disconnect sensor from harness.
5. Measure sensor resistance between connector pins and confirm reading is between
1000Ω and 1200Ω at room temperature. Also measure from sensor connector to sensor
casing for possible short. If measurement is not correct, or if short is found, replace
sensor.
6. Trace wires and connectors to sensor from control, then back to control. If wire or
connection is damaged, replace the harness. If wire or connector is not damaged,
replace oven temperature sensor.
7. Reconnect the sensor to the harness.
8. Replace all parts and panels before operating.
9. Plug in range or reconnect power.
10. Press CANCEL>CANCEL>START to enter the Diagnostics Mode and clear the error
code.
11. Press CANCEL to cancel the Diagnostics Mode.
12. Press BAKE and START. Observe for longer than 1 minute.
13. If failure does not reappear, stop. If failure remains, unplug range or disconnect power and check wire connections.

entered successfully, all indicators on the
console are illuminated for 5 seconds with
“888” or “88” showing in the Estimated Time
Remaining (Whirlpool) or Estimated Cycle
Time (Maytag) seven-segment display. If
there are no saved fault codes, all indicators
on the console will momentarily turn off,
and then only the seven-segment display
will come back on and display “888” or “88”.

Hi. I’m not sure what would cause warm air to enter through the ice maker vent and cause burn marks. That is very strange. The air from the freezer comes through theses vents to the ice maker. I would assume you have a temperature issue as well. What is the freezer temp? Maybe the air is being circulated during the defrost cycle. This should not get hot enough to cause burn marks though. All that being said, if you installed a new ice maker and it is getting proper water, there must be a temperature or air flow issue. It is strange it starts working every 3 weeks? Does the unit get turned off for a period of time or anything else that can affect the unit? i have attached a service manual from a similar unit for you.

It is very possible the motor is bad. Check to make sure you have proper power to the motor. There is a fuse between the motor/inverter and main control that could be bad as well. P# WH49X10055. It is part of the white/ red wire. You can unplug this wire at the main control and from the motor and check for continuity. If this fuse is bad something may have caused to to fail. I have attached a repair video for the fuse.

Hi. I have attached a new link to for the service manual on this unit. I am not sure on this model if the basket should spin freely. Depends on if there is a brake that could be engaged or not. Typically the baskets on these style washers are suppose to spin freely, but I am not sure on your exact model.

I have attached the complete service manual for your model. All information you need is in the attachment. Also, I would take a good look at lid switch assembly as this is most likely cause of the issue.

Water filters are charcoal activated and when changed either 2 gallons of water must be flushed through dispenser, or you may get grey and/or cloudy ice cubes. I would be sure it is flushed properly, then inspect ice maker for build up of residue in cube mold and also look carefully at water reservoir for residue build up.

Hello
See service diagnostics link below. See some possibilitys below that could cause your issue. Go to page #19 in diagnostics to address your specific issue. Matt Ace technician
