Other than the information provided, the only other possibility may be a failed “flood safe ” type of supply hose. I have seen this multiple times, so you may want to be sure to eliminate that as a possibility as well.

Hello
Have you run the unit throgh diagnostics ? If not see manaul below . There are only two other possibilities.
1) Make sure the inlet hoses are not reversed .
2) Your wiring diagram shows a (NTC) thermistor. They are resistors with a negative temperature coefficient, which means that the resistance decreases with increasing temperature. I am not sure if your NTC is built into your board or if it is a separate external part near the main control board. Call your parts distributor to see if you can get the NTC separately. This will definately cause your issue if its not part of the board. Matt Ace technician

Hi. The unit is not self defrosting. If the heater tested good, you could have a bad defrost thermostat, evaporator sensor or control board. I have attached the service manual on this unit for you. Check your defrost thermostat for continuity. If that tests good, it is either the sensor or control board. The manual will give you test points to check the thermistor from the control board. You will need to match up the current temperature at the thermistor to the resistance on the chart that it should be at. I have had good luck lately replacing the evaporator sensors even if they have tested ok. The thermistor is much cheaper than the control board and more likely to be the issue. I have attached some videos for you as well.
