I have attached the tech manual on this model for you. All information and and diagnostic procedures available on this unit are in the tech sheet provided.

Per Whirlpool official tech manual * F5 E7* ” Door will not unlatch. Door unlocked somehow and will not unlatch Check door switch, latch switch”. This error means that door IS unlocked BUT WILL NOT UNLATCH, which is exactly what you are describing. All information available is in Tech sheet previously provided, and you must utilize tech sheet information for resolution. There is no other information to provide. I would start by replacing door latch switch.

Do you have any error codes when running through the diagnostic mode ? If it is a slow drain, the board will not let the cycle compete . I would check :
1) Check the drain hose for restrictions.
2) Check for someting stuck in the pump.
3) Start the washer and check for 120 VAC at the drain pump.

Have you run the unit through the service test mode ? See below or go to page #59 in the technician manual link below to see all codes. Matt Ace technician

Enter into test mode ******
Begin with the washer in idle mode (all LED’s on the display off )
2. Press the following key sequence to enter
service mode, depending on the model:
• Temp –>Delay Wash –>Temp –>Delay Wash
• Signal –>Extra Rinse –>Signal –>Delay Rinse
• Temp –>Delay Start –>Temp –>Delay Start
NOTE: The sequence must be done in order. If
there are any other button presses or buttons
pressed out of order, the sequence must be
started from the beginning. Test t01 will show in the display

Exit test mode
1) Press Power button.
NOTE: Attempting to exit the service test mode
by disconnecting the power will result in a locked
washer.

Have you run the unit throgh the diagnostic mode ? Do you have any error codes? Is just the refrigerator not cooling or both refrigerator and freezer ?

See the complete troubleshooting and diagnostic manual . Go to page #30 and follow the flow chart for a no power to dsisplay. You have a Electronic Control Board EBR32268015 AND the Display control board EBR36870713. The main Electronic Control Board EBR32268015 powers the Display control board EBR36870713, See wireing diagram on page #17 in the manual link below. Matt Ace technician

We are not a parts distributer. I would call Samsung direct at 800-627-4368( Mon – Fri 9:00 AM ~ 8:30 PM EST ) and ask them to to open the box to verify the DA97-12662A has 3- molex connectors. They should be able to address address your issue. Hope this helps

Are you getting any error codes ? Have you run the unit throgh the Quick Test Mode ?
How to Enter: — Press Soil Level Key, Signal Key
and Power Key at the same Time.
1. All LED’s light up and it sends out Beep Sound when
it enters into the Quick Test Mode. (Including 7-
Segment)
2. Displays software version for a sec and Clear EEprom.
(Ex. If S/W Version is 49, 7-Segment will display
L949)
3. When the version is displayed, turn the Jog-Dial so
that the version disappears. Press the following
keys to test the various components.
– Temp Key : Water Valve Test
– Spin Key : Door Lock/Unlock Test
– Soil Key : Water Heater Test
Water Test
– Signal : Drain/Bubble Pump Test

**Diagnostic code check***
1. Activate the Service Mode first.
2. Press the “Spin key” key to start Diagnostic Code
Check Mode Code “d” will start flashing.
3. To cycle through the diagnostic codes (d1,d2,d3~d9),
turn the Rotary Cycle Selector in one direction
(either Clockwise or Counterclockwise).
4. Now, when turning the Rotary Selector Key in the same
direction, it shows diagnostic codes from the latest
(d1).
5. When turning it in the opposite direction, it shows the
diagnostic codes in the reverse order. Ex) When it
stops at d5 and turns backward, it shows from d4
down to “d”. Refer to Diagnostic Code

After you remove the 2 phillips screws in the upper left and right of the user interface you must use a stiff putty knife at the top and pry forward and out from top. In order to avoid scratching use some painters tape on the door along the top edge where the ui and the door snap in place, (on the door) and place putty knife in between crevice and apply force outward and down . That is the only way it comes out and hopefully no tabs will break. Good luck !

Go to the link below on the Rapid Resolution page #318 for diagnostics . Also the Fast track guide link below will show you the error codes and what they mean. Have you run the unit through the diagnostic mode ?
Self Diagnosis: Press both buttons (Power
Freeze– Lighting) simultaneously (No sound
when both buttons are pressed at the same
time) ’til the display quits blinking and
beeps, 8-12 seconds, then release and read
Fault Codes. This will also cancel the Fault
Mode created by self-diagnosis at power up
