Hello
Some items to check with your E3 Error. First run the unit through the diagnostic mode with the technician diagnostics link below. This error occurs when the washer motor has an issue. Check the rotor/ stater first before replacing the motor. The last possibility is board. See diagnostics for each component before replacing. Matt Ace technician
- • Check the motor connector terminal
- connections.
- • Check if the Motor Cover State is damaged.
- • Check if the coil is broken due to moisture
- from any alien substance.
- • If the PBA control circuit is defective, replace
- the PBA.
- ► Check the motor Winding Coil
- • Plug out the connector and read
- resistances at any two of the three
- terminals on Motor
- Should be 19.3Ω (at 25oC)

Hello
Are you getting normal freezer and refrigerator temperatures. You should have -5 to +5 degrees in freezer section and 38-42 degrees in refrigerator. If you do then I would look at the door gaskets and make sure the doors are getting closed properly. If a door is ajar overnight it will cause this issue. Thanks Matt Ace technician

Hello
On this model we take a socket set with a stub 1/4 inch drive and remove the three screws on the back of the condenser motor. Its all done by feel you cant see the screws. Should take about 20 minutes.

Hello
The model number listed is not correct, please check it. The symptom sounds like a pressure switch or plugged pressure tube hose. See video links below

Hello
We have found the water reservoir will get deposits in it from sitting. I would replace the filter and reservoir at the same time and that should correct your issue. We have run into this at least three times. Part number #DA97-07129A . Matt Ace technician

Hi. I have attached the tech sheet, as well as diagnostic and repair videos for you. The unit could be displaying an error code. This can cause the lights to stay on. Try to reset the machine by unplugging it. Then press and hold the start button in for 5 seconds with the unit unplugged. Plug the unit back in and give it a few seconds to come back on. If the lights come back on try to press the start button for about 5 seconds until the lights shut off. Enter into the diagnostic mode to see what error codes you have stored and run an automatic test mode.

See technician sheet on your issue. If you have no display you will have no choice but install the main control board. Just make sure you have no other shorts. Matt Ace technician

Hi. This is very common especially on stainless steel tub models. Especially if they have the silverware rack on the door. Newer dishwashers do not dry as well as the old dishwashers. During the drying process the water will WIC on the walls and the door of the dishwasher. That water then transfers back onto the silverware when the basket is placed on the door. There should be a spot on the front of the lower dish rack to place the basket or you can place the basket in the lower rack. This will help. Also, make sure they are using rinse aid as it helps greatly with the drying process. Make sure the dishwasher is getting proper hot water temperature and have them run the hot water at the kitchen sink before turning the dishwasher on to ensure it gets hot water right away.

Hello
If the other dishes are dry I would try a dishwasher rinse aid agent. Like Finish Jet dry. Some dishwashers from Whirlpool Corporation—including many Maytag, KitchenAid, Kenmore, and Whirlpool models—still offer an exposed drying element. These tend to be cheaper models with plastic tubs, but some stainless-tub models also have a heated dry. If you see a black ring around the filter at the base of the machine, it’s a sure sign that your dishwasher has an exposed heating element. Hope this helps Matt Ace technician

Hello
See technician guide below. If you are getting 17 degrees in the freezer and your temperature control is set on the highest setting , you clearly have a cooling issue. You should be getting -5 degrees to +5 degrees in the freezer. 38- 42 degrees in fresh food section. I would remove the cover of the evaporator and inspect the evaporator for an even frost pattern. I suspect you have : 1) The beginning of a defrost issue. 2) A starved evaporator with a sealed system leak. Both very common issues for your model refrigerator. The condensation forming in that drawer on the glass shelf is caused by a cooling issue. Matt Ace technician

Hello
See the technician guide below. Have you replaced the water saddle vale ? It sounds like you have a valve that is leaking through. With low water pressure trickling though it will freeze up the inlet tube. You need to have good cwater pressure through the water inlet tube. Matt Ace technician

Hi. I have attached the tech sheet for you. To enter into diagnostic mode you will need to turn the knob L-R-R-R-L-R. You were missing the last R of the sequence. There you can check for stored error codes as well as run the unit through a test cycle. They did change these units to only lock the lid once it gets to spin. So it is normal that it was not locked. I have attached a video as well to show you how to gain access into diagnostic mode.
