Hello
The diodes are embedded in a small portion of the harness between cluster of solenoid valves. The harness section has the diodes placed in the proper direction for current flow and covered with heat shrink material to help with corrosion and such. If ones has the experience with replacing these types of electronic devices, there is nothing to stop one from doing just that. Most appliance services are not used to replacing individual electronic components so that’s why the harness section.

Heat Release Ice maker production Explanation
Thirty eight ( 38) minutes after the water fill is complete, the control board will check the temperature of the eject Thermistor, on the Ice Maker Head, if the Thermistor reads a tem-perature lower than 18.5 degrees for more than 5 sec-onds, then the ice production process is completed. The Ice maker will then harvest if the ice bucket is not sensed as full. If a Fault Mode is detected with the Ice Maker op-eration, the Ice Maker stops working for 3 hours. Which means, the Ice Maker checks the operation every three hours.
FREEZER TEMPERATURE CONTROL BY THE ICE MAKER
The Interior Temperature of the freezer will be set to -14 degrees Fahrenheit until the ice bucket is full. When the ice bucket is full, the freezer will maintain original set temperature.Whenever the ice is used, the freezer will again set to -14 degrees Fahrenheit. Selecting “Ice Off” will allow the freezer to be controlled by the set tem-perature. If water is not hooked up, the freezer will always be at –14 unless “Ice off is selected. Look on page #2 of the diagnostics link below. Run the unit through diagnostics check for error codes and most importantly freezer temperatures . Matt Ace technician

Hello
Have you run the unit through diagnostics ? See link below. When you installed the new board did you read the instructions carefully ? Some some of the GE boards have specific instructions because they are universal. I know the common GE board based on serial number has you clip the J1 wire for the unit to cool properly. Your board part number is WR55X11208 based on my look up. Double check it from what you have installed and we have had defective boards out of the box in a few occasions, do not rule that out. Hi. I have attached the tech sheet for you. This will show you how to run test modes for fans, compressor, etc. You can also check for any stored error codes. With frost build up you could have a defrost issue. I have seen this model frost/ ice up behind the evap cover and cause this same issue. I did not find anything that caused it. I did replace the defrost sensor and haven’t heard back on it.I would highly recommend replacing the defrost sensor. It is recommended any time it gets covered in ice. Has the door switch been disengaged for awhile? The door switches need to be depressed in order for the evap fan motor to run on most samsung units. This could cause the frost build up and the not cooling so well issue. Also, check to make sure the drain tube is not clogged. If the drain is clogged you will have water or ice on the freezer floor. This can cause the frost build up and result in the no cool. I have attached some Samsung repair videos for you as well.

Hello

See service bulletin below :
If need to change a defective part of Control Panel assembly for service. The control plate is changed, so touch sensitivity is also changed. Touch Button may not operate or operate too sensitive, If only one of part of Control Panel assembly is changed. Change Control Panel Sub assembly and Display PCB assemblies together as an assembly. Matt Ace technician

Hello
Can you explain your symptom ? It the unit cooling ? If the compressor and fan motors are running and the unit is not cooling on this single evaporator system, I would be looking at the evaporator frost pattern next. Matt Ace technician

Hello, To test the valve the best water would be to put the ice maker into harvest mode. Remove the front white plastic cover and you will see a screw on the big gear, start turning the screw and the ice maker will start to move on its own. When it does go to the back of the unit and check for 120 volt ac at the correct valve. If power is there you need a new valve if no power you will need a new ice maker

Hi. I have attached the tech sheet on this unit for you. E3 on the display is going to represent a 2E error code. Check the tech sheet for this error code and steps to take to diagnose it. It states :
Display “E3”
Evaluate wire
harness for loose
or unhooked
connections. If
machine has
separate motor
control, perform
self diagnostic
motor test. See
“Board Output
Test”.

Hello
You definitely have a dead short causing the breaker to trip. Most common causes for a dead short is the heater grounding to the case of the unit. Inspect your heater, this is very common. The F70 Error code solutions Possible Causes/Procedure
1) Check for continuity of the User Interface harness.
2) Check wire harness connections to the User Interface and the CCU.
3) Replace User Interface if drum is rotating.
4) Replace Central Control Unit if drum is not moving.

Hello
You have a few possibilities the first is lack of water into the init, make sure when the cycle starts there is proper water supply into the dishwasher. The second is food or debris stuck in the motor pump assembly, if there food in the pump screen you are recycling dirty water. You could have a cracked or defective spray arm. See video link below

Hi. I have attached the tech sheet for you. I do not see a 5e error code listed. There is a FE error code that it could possible be. Take a look at the error codes listed on the tech sheet.
