Hello
If you cannot get the unit into the diagnostic mode fro the instructions on page #3 of the technician sheet link below. Your only option is to replaced the board as it should always go into diagnostics. I would disconnect power for 5-minutes to reset the board and try one last time before replacing the board. Hello
Yes, there is a fix for the old plastic tab nut. The new part number kit is DC82-0197X . You will need to have your own lock tight, it does not come with the kit and you definitely need it. See video link below for help . Make sure you put the unit not service mode first , then test mode . This is important to get right because during a normal repair tech MUST use service mode before test mode to avoid deleting saved error codes. Matt Ace technician .

Hello
There is no service bulletins on this model. Is the evaporator completely frosted at a -20 degree coil temperature ? If not this could be a start of a sealed system issue. Is the dispenser ice flap closing 100% of the way ? Is the evaporator fan motor running at the correct speed ? Are your door seals good or is there any shelf or food preventing the doors from closing all of the way ? You could have a damper door issue or thermister not sensing the proper FF temperature. Last is main PCB not functioning properly. I would check all of these issues , then start replacing the lowest price parts after completing the diagnostics.
