Hi. This does sound like a main control board issue. I would bet its your issue if you are not getting power to the fans or compressor. I have attached the tech sheet for you on this unit. Also, if the drain tube on this unit has not been updated yet I would install the updated drain tube kit. P# W10619951

Hi. I would make sure your air flow is good. I have seen lint build up in the blower area on these. Check venting as well. If the thermostats and fuses are tripping then it’s due to the unit over heater, most likely from poor air flow. This is why the clothes would take longer to dry as well. I would install the OEM t-stat and fuse so they are the correct temperature rating as well.

Hello, At this time all I can locate on this model is a pretty good parts blow up. If there is any blockage on the lower side of the lower spray arm it will not rotate as it should causing this issue also I would take all the spray arms off and run it and see if it sounds like a week pump or maybe something worked its way down there.

Hello
This sounds like a possible defrost issue. I would start by looking at the evaporator for an even frost pattern . Then go to page #5 on the link below for troubleshooting information. Matt Ace appliance

Hi. How is your air flow? Are you getting air flow through the vent over to the FF side? Does the unit have a defrost issue? Sounds like a defrost issue or sealed system issue. This could also be a dirty condenser causing the compressor to over heat. Make sure the coils are clean. Does the mullion feel hot to the touch? You could have a condenser fan motor that is not rotating at high speed. The condenser fan motor will rotate at different speeds depending on how hot the compressor is. I have found faulty control boards that cause the fan to spin at a slow speed when it should be spinning at a high speed. You will find the compressor and surrounding areas are very hot if this is the case. If everything is running, you have good air flow, and the compressor is not overheating, you must have a sealed system issue.

Hi. Here is a video on how to replace the spark module.

Hi. This oven has a direct spark ignition for the bake and broil. There is not a glow igniter on this unit. The bake will ignite just as the cook top burners do. You will hear the igniter clicking as the valve lets gas out to ignite. Are you getting any clicking from bake or broil? If not you could have a bad DSI control board. p# WPW10331686 .

Hi. You can not replace just the coils on this gas valve. The whole valve has to be replaced, which includes the coils. p# 5221EL2002A. As long as your sure your air flow is good I would say you have an issue with the gas valve. Make sure your sensors/ thermistors are good. no error codes? Does the unit have this issue on timed and sensor dry cycles? Attached is a video

Hi. Usually I find the switch sticking due to ice build up in or around switch. These units are common to get condensation/ frost build up in the freezer section due to warm air enteringin the unit. Make sure the door and door seal are good as far as sealing when closed. Check any other places warm air could be entering unit. Does the customere open the doors alot or do they get left open by children possibly? Is it hot and humid in the house? If you do not find anything check the gap around the freezer where the liner meets the frame, where the door closes. You cN apply silicone in this gap to prevent warm air from getting in.

Hello
You could have a water level pressure switch not letting unit advance. Or bad contacts in the timer causing your issue . Another possibility is your motor. See link below on the motor service bulletin. Matt Ace technician

Make sure to check the air Chanel that comes from the freezer , if it froze is possible that is blocking the air , also check the ice maker fan voltage at the board, it should be around 12vdc at peak. If is not replace the board. Click on this link below for videos to help you. https://www.appliancevideo.com/advanced-search/#sf-{“2″:”195″,”4″:”47″,”search-id”:”vidsearch”}

One of our technicians has actually sold this repair to a landlord. This GE stack unit retails for $1260.00. The days of $800.00 stack washer and dryers is currently over. No brand is offering a full size washer and dryer stack under $1200. We repaired the unit for around $850.00. The landlord decide to repair the unit, because it was only a few years old, and the new one would be over $1300 with sales tax. Hi. It is very common for Ge model numbers to have a “0” in the middle of the that you have to take out when you look them up. The model number you had found ( ZET2PL1SS) is the correct one. I had one acting similar to this not too long ago. It ended up being a bad control board. After the customer would have the oven on for so long it would just shut down, display would go blank. After a while it would come back on and work again. Yours could have the same thing going on. I would make sure the cooling fans are working so that the controls are not getting too hot and shutting down because the fan is not circulating air to cool them down. Make sure your temperature probe tests out good. Your unit has a few different control boards on it unlike mine. It is hard to say with out catching it in the act and having multiple boards it could be. I have attached the service manual on this unit for you.
