Hi. I have the description from the tech sheet for the F11 error code.

Serial Communication Error
Communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.
PotentialCauses
. Check Wire Harness connections to the MCU. the motor, and Central Control Unit (CCU) . Check the Drive system lor any worn or failed components . Replace MCU . Replace CCU . Replace Motor . Replace Wire Harnes

I have also attached service manual for you as well. Almost always I have seen the MCU or CCU fix this issue. I would suspect the wire harness next. It also states it could be the motor, which I have never seen before. Also, I have attached link to other F11 questions that have been answered in the past. Please take a look at them as well.

Did you change the door boot ? If not change it. I would then go to section 3-1 through 3-13 on troubleshooting and diagnostics for the timer and start button. This diagnostic manual walks you through every step.

Hi. I have attached the tech sheet for you. First check for power to the unit. Control boards are very common to be damaged during a power outage.

Hi. I have attached the tech sheet for your unit. Sounds like you are not getting power to the compressor or condenser fan motor. Check for proper power. In the tech sheet you can run the diagnostic tests and turn the compressor and condenser fan motor on. Sounds like you could have a bad jazz board which is the board in the refrigerator that has the buttons on display on it or a bad H.V board which is located in the compressor compartment.

The first thing to check would be a full visual inspection of the rubber boot that goes around the inside of the door. Make sure that the lip that seals it to the door does not have and rips or tears in it. Also pull the seal back and inspect the inner portion of the seal for any small rips or tears. If there are are any holes this will cause water to leak out the front. Also make sure the door glass is completely clean. If it gets layered with hair or any debris the door will not make a good seal and can cause a path for the water to travel and leak out the front as well. The door boot part# for this model is 12002533. Hope this helps.

In reply to: not heating

Hello, could not find a tech sheet for this model. There are only three parts to the defrost system, heater, bi-metal and the timer. If you have continuity through the heater you will need to check the bi-metal next for continuity while it is in the freezer and cold. if you have continuity through the bi-metal you will have a bad timer. if no continuity through bi-metal you will have a bad bi-metal.

Is the motor spinning? If so does the idler pulley have tension on it? There should be a spring that puts tension on the pulley and allows for it to spin. The spring is on the left side when looking into the unit from the front with the front panel off. Is the unit agitating?

Have you checked the Freezer defrost bi-metal thermostat # 297216600 to see if its open ? This is in series with the defrost heater that you say has continuity correct ? If your timer contacts are good and sending voltage down to the defrost thermostat then you have an open therm. you can test the defrost therm by bypassing it to see if the heater comes on. You only have three parts to this defrost system 1) Defrost timer #215267800 2) Defrost heater 3) Defrost therm. # 297216600

Check your ice chute door, it sounds like it may be stuck open and letting moisture in to the unit. Also make sure the door seals are sealing properly, and the door is closing properly with any objects restricting it from closing. Also check the water inlet valve to see if it is leaking through the diaphragm. If the inlet valve is not seated properly it will let water through the valve when it is not energized . In reply to: light not working

Hi. I can not see how the lighting is set up on this unit from the parts break down. I assume you have more than one light in the refrigerator section. I found p# DA41-00676G for the L.E.D light. This looks like the control board with the lights on it. I would suspect this part first, if other lights in the refrigerator are working. Could be a main board or door switch issue, but with other lights working it does not sound like it.
