HI. I have attached the tech sheet on your unit. I would run the diagnostics first and check for any error codes. THen you can also try and Start a forced defrost cycle. Then tech sheet also shows the control board and where to test your defrost components from the board. You could also take apart the back panel off to gain access to the evaporator, to test the defrost components.

Sounds like a defrost issue problem . I recommend replacing the defrost heater on this unit. It is the most coomon problem beside the defrost control. See parts and video links below.

Do you have water in the ice maker ? If you have no water in the shell of the ice maker I recommend replacing your saddle valve . See links below.

Can you send me a link to that video you saw so I can clarify what Robert was talking about? I responded to that question and I still think it could be glitched up because of the ice maker or needs a control board.
