My best guess without you being in front of it, would be possible debris in pump, and most likely loose change. That metal on metal when in a drain or spin will sound a lot worse than it is. Possibly in need of a new pump as well but won’t know for sure til you physically check it. Good luck!

David, I’d start with the inlet valve if everything else looks good. For this model it’s W10219643 and I’ll add it below if it does end up being the issue. Sounds like it may be slowly leaking/opening and filling the tub when not in use.

In reply to: Siphon break issues.

We have not had many issues with siphon break failures. We are using a different part number. We use the 285320 which is about ½ the price of the 76660 and can also be used on plastic drain hoses.

James , on a no spin washer their could be several possibilities on you MAH6500 series unit. I am linking over a few good videos that will help you diagnose your issue. See links below.

Door open warning
Water supply Error
Low level wa-ter Error
Turbidity Error
If Door is open, Door open warning (‗Delicate + Smart Auto‘ LED) will blink. If low level sensor is not detected, Drain is executed. Water sup-ply will be executed when low level sensor is detected. If water is not fully supplied (sensing on flow-meter), the Water Supply Error (‗Smart Auto‘ LED) will blink. When high level sensor is not detected after water supply was done, Low-level water error (‗Normal + Heavy + Smart auto‘ LED) will blink. When Turbidity problem is occurred after water supply was done, Turbidity Error (‗Normal + Heavy‘ LED) will blink. If all func-tions in this mode are completed, Wash LED will blink.

Kraig, unfortunately, yes. We do replace some when we get the occasional customer that prefers to keep the machine they have. But a lot of the time it’s a bit too steep of a cost for repair. There’s not much that can be helped there.

Since the oven control was OFF, this means the L1 through the bake relay was not affected. This my not be the case had the circuit been controlled by the ERC when the event occurred. The fact that the element shorted after it began to cool down means that only the reconnected L2 circuit was involved. This could not have affected the control relay. An element can fail at any time. The light show of the element shorting out would have been much more extreme if it failed with 240 across it.
I would not have concern for the control since it was the L2 side that shorted. The element wire inside probably just warped and touched the outer shield as it was cooling off and contracting back into place.

This model would fit the W10619951 drain tube that we replace due to warm air getting siphoned back into the unit and causing the drain to freeze. Is that the correct part you were looking for? I’ll link a picture of it below to confirm. Thanks for stopping by!
