James, unfortunately both of these parts would have to come from LG directly. We too have ran across the same thing. A few of our customer just opted to replace instead after realizing there’d be a wait as well as a pretty hefty price tag. Hope this helps!

Couple of thins to look for. Is the unit draining by itself or is the water being pumped out? Can you her the pump working to drain the water in the rinse cycle?

If the pump is not running or removing the water you most likely have a a siphoning issue. Recheck your drain line and make sure the line is positioned correctly, check your standpipe and make sure the hose is not shoved to far down in, make sure the “goose neck” is in position on the drain line to help with proper water flow.

If it is the pump pumping out the water you will want to recheck all of your connections on the board you installed. If one of the wires was attached to the in correct terminal the board may be telling the pump to run at the wrong time. Refer to the wiring diagram to make sure.

If you have checked these options then most likely you have purchased a defective board and may have a relay sticking causing that pump to run at the wrong time.

Since you have replaced the Control and made sure there is cold water coming to the unit, when the unit is in the rinse does it fill with cold water? The shifter that engages the basket to spin or agitate might not be working correctly. To check the shifter correctly you are going to have to locate the Tech sheet it is usually hidden be hind the front panel but maybe located in the back of the unit. I would recommend finding this before proceeding any further with repairs or parts replacements. Let me know when you locate it so i can help you.

Hi. I have seen the drain tubes on these model of refrigerators clog many times, and then stop the fan motor from running. Have you cleared the drain tube yet? We need to access the drain tube under the evaporator through the floor of the refrigerator, carefully clear all the ice out. and flush some hot water down the drain. A turkey baster works well for this. You could even mix a little baking soda in with the warm water to give it a good cleaning. Once your sure that you have flushed it out really well and the water is draining out good, you can put the unit back together. I’m do not understand what you meant when you said you ” pitched the refer ” back a little bit. Let me know if you need any further help.

No timer has computer and I replaced that it has a selector for the different cycles

If agitates in beginning and is spinning then the lid switch must be operational. If it does nothing once it gets to rinse it could be the cold water not coming in since almost all washers only rinse on cold no matter what water setting it is on. If i had to make an educated guess I would go with timer.

Harley, this is always a customer preference on these, we too try to be up front and honest on whether it’s cost effective to fix or better to replace. The price really won’t change much from vendor to vendor, or not enough to matter.

Sometimes these compressors can go for years with a slight knock, however the fact that the condenser motor was out for awhile weans the compressor ran very hot for an unknown time. Prepare to repair or replacement of the compressor based on the fan failure. If the unit is in otherwise good condition, a compressor replacement is not a bad investment.

Kraig, I just looked into this recently, on some models it’s impossible to get OEM capacitors separate from the compressor and so we’re forced to install universal hard starts or capacitors. But you have to inform the customer that it will void their manufacturer’s warranty to do so. Some will opt out of the repair just due to that detail. I’ll attach the URCO410 that we typically use below if you’d like to give them the option.

Some Jenn-air units you can lift up on the bottom left corner of the door and it will wiggle enough to open it.
Otherwise I have carried a metal yard stick on the van for years and as long as it is accessible to slide it in the top it will usually trip the latch.

Make sure to follow instructions when you replace this board according the serial # and what to do you if you have a freezer on the bottom. These boards are universal and on some models you need to cut the J2 pin so the damper will open in the refrigerator. It is critical to read the attached instruction sheet.

Fred, sometimes even if the venting looks clear, it may still need to be professionally blown out or cleared. Especially if it’s a long run. Diminished air flow is almost always due to a clog, especially when all the operating and mechanic functions of the dryer seem to be in proper operation. I’d start there and advise the customer to do it every year on a schedule to avoid any hazards and fires for the future.

Yes, the clutch assembly is called the “housing assembly, clutch” and makes it a bit more difficult when doing parts lookups. It’s 3661EA1009E and we unfortunately don’t have a purchase link for it. Hope this helped!

No problem at all. The gasket for this is an uncommon one: mds47123602 & we do not have a purchase link for it. We have others that are similar but you need that specific one for your model. Good luck!
