There may be an issue with the temp sensor, but I’d also check the drain line as well. A lot of time, ice build up down in the crispers or underneath is a sure sign of water leaking and freezing from a plugged up drain. The temp sensor part number is DA32-00006S and I’ll add a link and video for you below to check out.

This is a great questions, the original OEM part number is 4201760 and this WPL 4317943 is a compatible replacement kit for it. If you can find an OEM kit, by all means, put it in for them. We no longer have them or order them but it would be your call on what you do moving forward from there. Tracking one down may prove time consuming if you go that route.

Harley, it’s very possible you’re correct. We do a lot of main pcb boards on these units. If it is, part number would be DA41-00219K. And I’ll attach a video to help you diagnose/replace it if needed. Once you’re in front of the unit and can do a physical check, diagnosing will be much easier.

David, we can help! Part number is 6615JB2005C and it’s called a Controller Assembly which may be why keyword search wasn’t very helpful. Link is below for you!

James, we typically reset and give the customer a quote of what it will cost if it happens again and we have to return with the part. Normally they are thrilled to not have to replace parts initially, and then are aware of future charges so there’s no surprises for anyone. We never recommend replacing parts as “preventative” measures unless it’s a serious safety concern.

Gary, we do in fact have a video of an element replacement, I’ll link it below with the part information that may come in handy after diagnosing. These are pretty straightforward machines, but it can be time consuming to do part lookups, even our technicians still find it frustrating still. Some patience and willingness to learn will go a long way. Element kit is 395583. Hope this helps!

Not a problem, the thermo fuse assembly is DA47-00095E and I’ll link it below. Glad you’re figuring these out! The more you work on them, the better you’ll be. Most just take some time to familiarize yourself. Good luck!

Unfortunately, no. We used to be able to send some in for a rebuild, but typically it depends on the original make of the board. And it is very costly. A lot of our customers opt to just buy new in scenarios like this instead of the long wait time (sometimes weeks!) in trying to get the board sent out, rebuilt, and sent back, then having you return to install. And it’s not always a guaranteed fix. Sometimes they can’t get rebuilt and you don’t find out til they receive it. Sorry!

I sent you a link below for a parts breakdown for your KitchenAid refrigerator. My best guess without seeing the unit would be possible compressor not running do to both refrigerator and freezer not cooling.

Fred, we can definitely help you out on this. The flow meter sensor is DD32-00004A. I’ll add the information below to purchase or it will just show you pricing and availability if needed. Seems you figured out the issue, we too do this in ordering one part and then finding it is another that was the root of the problem all along. Glad we could help!

That IE error is a Water Inlet Error, and usually means there’s an issue with the inlet valve itself, or the hoses need to be replaced. We find that a lot of customers have the “flood safe” hoses which end up causing a lot of problems. We always recommend replacing them with stainless steel braided ones that will fix the issue for them. Hope this helps!

It sounds like you’re on the right track with this, I’m assuming there’d be temperature issues coming on soon as well but you may have caught it before that happened. The condenser motor part number is DA31-00103A and I’ll add a link below for you. You’re doing great! If you can get in there to get some hands on, that’s always the best way to diagnose as you can’t actually visually confirm or test any part and connections. Best of luck to you in this!

Harley, my best guess, would be something lodged or stuck in the blower wheel or it’s housing. Kids socks, small clothing items can get sucked in and trapped and it’s not always the obvious place to check. Ensure the filter is fitted correctly, remove any obstructions, and hopefully you’ll be good to go!

David, we actually reset quite a few boards that never have an issue again. So I’d say leave as it and let the customer know to contact you if they have any more problems. If it happens again, you may have an issue with the ice maker as well, so be ready to check that. Hope this helped, and let us know what else we can do for you!

David, we just had one recently that was an RPS (Rotor Position Sensor) Sensor 420296P. It typically will generate a 130 or 131 fault code if you want to try and verify when you arrive to diagnose. You can always order and take with you, but make sure you can return if unused/uninstalled. Hope this helps you out!

James, this repair normally requires us to send two technicians, it can be difficult to do it alone. But the part number for that middle spark electrode is 531679P. Good luck on this!
