In reply to: Blow fuse

Kou, It sounds like you may have a dead short in the motor. This is a direct short and will blow the circuit every time. You can remove the motor and have it tested at a parts store. Matt Ace technician

Otoniel, they constantly are changing the board version. If you looked it by the model number it should be the correct board. I would call your parts distributor and verify by the model number you have the correct board. They sometimes make mistakes. We have made a few videos on the Elextrolux ice makers. See links below they are very informative videos from our master technician that has allot of experience on Elextrolux products.

Sounds like a bad relay on the control board or possibly a door switch causing this. Kinda a strange symptom.

I have seen this issue before. As long as you do not find anything preventing the I would replace the ice fan motor. I have attached a link to the part.

HI. I have attached a service guide for your dishwasher. TO gain access to components such as your control board you need to take the screws out around the door frame to separate the door. To gain access to the heater and other components you will need to pull the unit and gain access to the bottom. This is a vague error code for high temperature heating . First thing I would check is that you are getting the proper water pressure to the unit and that the incoming water temp. is not too hot.

David, if this is out of warranty its not cost effective to do. If its in warranty see parts breakdown below. You will need to replace #11 & #8 . It takes one technician between 3-4 hours to complete this job. Matt Ace technician

In reply to: Dryer trips fuse

that’s a tough one to diagnose with out being there i wound unplug components till you find the one that’s the cause sound like a dead short some where a volt ohm meter will be necessary to ck the wiring

i like using the urco410 on units that have run caps because you can wire the run cap in with it.

that model doesn’t have a fan and the control is not available anymore part # 9757271 and that is the problem most likely

Did you check for the tech sheet in the control panel? There is a procedure to test the motor and motor control. I don’t have access to the document.
I would first suspect the motor control board as your problem and run the motor test.

I believe you pull the white plug off the motor control board, set the timer to delay, push start button and motor should turn. 120 VAC across black and white wires to motor control board from timer.

Yes, pull the freezer grill off. There may be ice forming in the ice room fan area preventing the motor from turning.
ER IF error means the computer does not register the fan motor for the ice maker turning.
Check the evaporator, make sure it is defrosting completely. You may need to replace the defrost sensor in the evaporator area.
Check gaskets around ice maker door inside left ref door and the gaskets on the side of the left ref door. The ice room fan always turns off when either ref door is opened. Samsung dw 1E error code, model DW80F800UWS/AA, serial B009g9md604628d This is supposed to be a high temp heating error. Had schematic for DMT800 series dishwasher with me. This wire diagram did not match the wire diagram on the main pcb cover on dw. Did not see thermistor listed on dw wire diagram on unit.
HEating element had 12 ohms, but no power going to it in quick wash cycle. Could not get it into diagnostic mode.
What should I be checking? I am guessing you need to pull the unit to get to components like LG brands?

when a compressor starts getting hard to start one of the first things to fail is the starting devices, relay and overload.
By adding a 3-in-1, you are adding a start capacitor to the starting package so it gives the compressor a boost when it starts. The addition of a start capacitor will shorten the life of the compressor so this would be considered a Band-Aid fix. This happens to be contrary to what some will say but this is the exact reason that manufacturers do not want anyone using 3-in-1s on their compressors.

I personally would not offer any type of a guarantee on one of these repairs. I have used 3-in-1s to get hard starting compressors going to save the customer’s food just to get them over the hump and have had them fail within a few minutes and then have others that have ran for years. You never know how much time the compressor is going to last.

Be sure to explain to the customer that the compressor could fail at any point and they need to start planning on a replacement and they may need to replace it at any time in the future.

Issue Washer stops in mid-cycle and/or flashes a code.
Action The motor drive system experienced a momentary loss of neutral feed from the power cord to the
Motor Control Board. The neutral line for the Motor Control Board passes across the water valve
solenoids. Neutral to the motor drive system can be momentarily lost If there is poor crimping of any
of the wire terminals in this circuit. This situation could result in a misdiagnosis and unnecessary
replacement of the Motor or Motor Controller Board.
Current Neptune front load washers will indicate a false locked rotor signal to the Machine Control
Board. Washers with a LED display will flash code “LR” in the display. LCD washers will display
“Locked Rotor.” The earlier built front loaders will not display a code, but simply shut down in midcycle
or will not start.
Pull each terminal of the white wire harness connected to each water valve solenoid and verify the
wire is properly stripped and crimped to the metal terminal connector of the wire harness. Make sure
the wires fit snug on the terminals of the water valve solenoids.
A product improvement has been made to the following models. The neutral wire is routed across
the pump only, and now by passes the water valve solenoids.
