Charles, typically this happens when the thermostat fails. It’s something I think you’d be able to do and I will attach a video below on how to access it, check it, and replace it if needed. If this doesn’t end up being the issue once you’re inside the unit, let us know and we’ll help you diagnose further.

Arthur, There definitely could be an obstruction or debris blocking your drain pump, or even something stuck in your chopper/impeller. I’ll attach a video that should be similar to your issue and show how to disassemble your dishwasher and check for any blockages. If everything checks out you may need a new drain pump. Hopefully not, but I’ll attach the link for the part that matches your model # as well: A00126401

Jeanne, this sounds like you have a weak ignitor. If the ignitor millivolt rating falls below specifications you will have this exact symptom. You have about a 95 % chance its the ignitor and 5% chance of a bad gas valve. The ignitor is much cheaper so start with that. See video link below for ignitor install. Our parts department is open 7-days and can ship same day 1-800-830-5465 . Matt Ace technician

Ed, it sounds like you have an iced up evaporator coil causing no air flow to the refrigerator section. I have provided a video link below showing an iced up evaporator. Check your evaporator and if it is iced up you can shut it down for 24 hours with the doors open and it will start cooling normal again. If this works you will have 6-8 days to the the defective defrost system part put on before it ices up again. We can help you find the part once you determine this is your issue. Matt Ace technician

I just only understood your question more clearly and now that i understand that the flames come on and off in a normal cycle, i’ll check in throughout a cycle and see if it’s actually drying the clothes, if the flame is coming back on.
thanks
- stanya answered 11 years ago
p.s. i hear a soft clunk near the burn assembly when the flame goes out.
- stanya answered 11 years ago
Thank you so much for your reply. The flame goes completely out after about 5 minutes. The outside vent is not clogged. If there were a hole in the soft vent tube, would that cause a lack of air flow in?
I kept thinking it was something mechanical. But i know there is a small hole in the foil vent tube.
Thanks for anymore info.

Hi Stan… If you are referring to the flame not staying on long enough, and are experiencing long dry times, your most probable problem is that there is some type of blockage in the blower housing or your exhaust hose… I would first check the outside exhaust outlet and make sure there is a good amount of air coming out. If there is not, there is blockage somewhere! Hope this helps.

I am sure the team at Kenmore is doing their best to lead you in the right direction over the phone, however there are occasions that when it does make sense to have a professional look at an appliance for you. The valve/regulator combo could be bad, however we do see more ignitors, electrical components, and controls fail than we do those valves. Most gas parts are non-returnable once installed too. Attached is a common Whirlpool valve replacement, not the exact part on your model, but it will give you an idea of what is involved in the repair. In this case it may be worth your time to call a service technician out to the home to confirm what part is failing for you, even if you end up doing the repair on your own. Good Luck and let us know how things go.

One of the more common problems we run across with those Samsung refrigerators are those defrost components failing this does created an ice/frost build up over time that may eventually freeze over the hole in your drain pan. The attached video is not for your exact model, but it demonstrates how to access the defrost components on a Samsung refrigerator. We also do see those thermistors needing replaced quite often. The part image attached should give you a good reference point on what part to look for in your refrigerator.
Looking up the Samsung error codes it does look like the 3 beeps indicates the refrigerator thermistor may have failed. The part is fairly cheep and not to terrible to get access to, it might be worth your time to start there.
Good luck on the repair and let us know!

Hi. A hot center mullion divider is a sign that the unit is over heating. This is cause by dirty condenser coils or a condenser fan motor that is not working. Check you condenser coils. IF they are really dirty they are restricting the air flow from the condenser fan motor. In turn, this causing the compressor to over heat and therefore does not cool properly. If they are not dirty, check that your condenser fan motor is running. Its located at the back of the unit near the compressor. It is odd that your freezer is too cold, as dirty coils or a bad condenser fan motor will cause both sections to get too warm. You may have a defrost issue instead, causing you freezer temp to seem like its good and your refrigerator section to be warm. Check you air flow at the vent in the refrigerator section. Do this with the freezer door closed. If no air flow. Check for frost on the back wall of the freezer. If there is frost build up you have a defrost issue. The unit is not self defrosting. This could also cause a warm center divider. It causes the unit to run constantly and in turn the divider gets hot. I have attached some videos to help you diagnose your problem as well as a link to purchase the condenser fan motor if you need it. Let me know what you find out.

Hi. I was unable to look up your model number. Please recheck model number. It should only have numbers. The K in the model number is probably wrong. First thing I would do is reset the unit by removing power to it for 5 mins and turning back on. I would check for power at the control board. See if you have 120 V coming into the board. Also, dishwashers now have a thermal fuse located on or near the control board. This may have tripped causing you symptom. Check to see if you fuse is good. IF you fuse is good and you have power to the board, you have a bad control board or touch panel. I have attached a video to show you the thermal fuse.
