HI. I have attached a link to purchase you defrost system parts. The evaporator assembly comes with all the defrost parts. You will not need to replace the evaporator. If you have determined you have a defrost issue, this will fix it for you. If you need any help just let me know.

Larry, as you pull out the bottom drawer there are two retainer clips on each side of the slide racks. Depress each of them and the drawer will pull out to be removed. Matt Ace technician

In reply to: `bad txv ?

Dano960, What is your suction pressure ? Does the compressor shut down ? How long does it run and what does the head pressure go up to ? You could have a restriction or bad TXV.

Yes, I watched the video and it is the same mechanical components as your model.

Hi. The model number you gave me is for a microwave. It sounds like you are referring to an oven. IF your broil still works, then I suspect that your bake element went out. Usually when this happens you can see that the element is broken in half at some point or has a melted silver spot or hole on it. IF your broil is not working as well I would check your control board. You should see a burnt spot on it as well as it will smell like it has burnt. IF this is the case you will need to replace your control board. I have attached a video that shows a bake element repair. IF you need any further help please let me know and attach the model number for you oven.

This sounds like a plugged drain assembly. You will need to defrost unit for 12 hours and pour hot water down the drain. Use a turkey baster to make sure its unplugged.

In reply to: CONTROL PANEL PROBLEM

If you have not done so already, I would reset the unit by turning power off to it for 5 mins. Also, if you did not remove power to the unit when you replaced the touch panel, it could not be recognizing the new part and you need to reset the unit. You can put it into diagnostic mode as well by pressing heated dry – normal – heated dry – normal. This may get it back to normal for you. If this does not work you could have a control board or ribbon cable issue. Did the new control panel come with a new ribbon cable? If not I would start by replacing the ribbon cable. Usually a bad ribbon cable will have visible discoloration on it. If the ribbon cable does not take care of it I would replace the control board.

there is a little panel at left top corner looking at it from the rear it coves the wiring haress and pressure tube , remove the 1/4 screw just one and remove that little panel the at the front of the machine under the lid there are 2 clips you have to depress to unck the top we use a flat skinny puddy knife/scraper and push in on them and it will release top,use a light and look between the lid and you should see them there about 3 inches from the corners 2 of them ,

its normal to have a vent line cleared or changed 6-12 months but exessive is not good, could also be the types of clothes causing alot of lint but i would check the filter for tears or if the seals are missing around filter letting it slip by or not clearing the filter after each use, but alot of times long dry times are due to bad ventilation , so make sure you are having a good air flow, you could also eliminate the vent off the rear and use a panyihoes to capture lint and see if unit dryes fine hen you know you have a resticted vent, but another cause to long dry times with gas dryer are the gas coils on the burner are failing hafway through cycle and its not drying , so you might mant to make sure the coils are working the entire cycle or just replace them , but first start with the vent issue , then gas coils if that doesnt work, but still have a clear vent, the rollers belt ect are wear and tear parts so if you think the belt fraying and rollers are worn then replace but at the age it would not be a bad idea,

In reply to: Will not preheat

could be a few differnat parts but you first have to verify you have 240v to unit to bake , comonly you will have an no bake issue and you will find the thermal fuse on the back wall of unit had blow witch is a safety shut off if unit over heats, also we see were the relay on control got stuck and unit continued to head and blew the fuse so a service tech to come out and diagnoise may save you alot of headaches, but first start with the power make sure you have 240v

i would first test the power coming to the dishwasher all time and and verify you have 110v to the machine at all times and its not a powering issue then you could say its the dishwasher and not a power supply issue,

In reply to: heating element

sounds to me like a wire got left off or is somhow touching ground , i would check the connections on the element and thermostates and make sure maybe you did not disconnect a wire and didnt see it , start by checking over work again to be sure thats not the problem,
