Hi Steve! Thanks for your question. The very first thing i would make sure of, is that your dryer is actually producing heat. Alot of times on auto dry cycles, if there is no heat, then it will continuously run because it is automatically sensing the load. Therefore if the clothes are not drying, it will just continue to run. After confirming, please let us know!
Thank you

if you replaced the lid lock assembly the issue is more than likely to be in the control assembly what switch did you replace and does the lid open or is it locked with the light blinking

Okay so I fixed it! No thanks to local plumber! Warranty is also a joke!
I replaced the latch with the revised and better design! My local lame plumber threw out the handle that attaches with the latch!! How the heck does one manage that!! Not exactly a small part! Maybe he needed for himself! I never checked his install of the touch panel he replaced less than one year ago. I should have!
I bought a new updated part number touch pad panel and installed all the new parts! Voila!! That fixed it!

Hi Greg. Many things can cause no water to the ice maker. The ice maker it self could be bad. The water inlet valve for the ice maker could be bad. The water line to the ice maker could be pinched or frozen. I hope this was helpful.

Hi Guye. You need to find out if the Ice maker it self is leaking in to the ice bin or if the water is leaking out of the fill cup or fill tube into the ice bin. There may be some ice build up in the fill cup causing some water to spill over in to the bin. Also, if the freezer temp is not cold enough the ice cubes could be melting causing them to clump together. If the ice chute door is not sealing good warm air can be getting in there. I hope this was helpful.

Hi Joanne. If you have a water dispenser on your refrigerator, make sure you are getting good water pressure coming out of it. If so, gain access to the ice maker and reach in it and see if you can feel water or ice cubes in it. If there is and your freezer temperature is correct you may have a bad ice maker or an ice jam preventing the ice maker from working. Depending on your model there could be some other things that would be causing the ice maker not to work. If you need further help please give me the model number. I hope this was helpful.

Hi Alysia. If your microwave is taking longer now to cook then it use to you most likely have a magnatron that is weak and needs to be replaced. Make sure that you have checked the power setting on the microwave first. It may not be cooking at full power. I hope this was helpful.

Hi Graham. Are you having an issue with the dryer not heating? Normal operation of the flame on a gas dryer goes like this. First the igniter will glow bright orange, then the gas comes out and ignites and produces the flame. This flame will stay on for a couple of minutes and then the flame will go out. After a few more minutes the igniter comes back on and the process is repeated. The thermostat in your dryer cycles the heat (flame) on and off to maintain the design temperature of your dryer. If your only getting heat at the beginning of the cycle and you see that ingiter glow orange and then turn off with out the flame coming on you have bad primary and secondary gas coils. I hope this was helpful.

Hi Scott. When an evaporator fan motor stops running it can cause ice or frost build up near the top of the evaporator.IThe frost will be thicker at the top of the evaporator then the bottom. Typically with a defrost issue the whole evaporator frosts up and you will notice the unit not cooling properly. I suspect that with the noise from the evaporator fan motor and if the frost is thicker at the top of the evaporator you have a bad evaporator fan motor. If the frost is thick across the whole evaporator you have a defrost issue. If its just ice around the fan and the fan blades are hitting the ice causing the noise you need to see where this ice is coming from. I hop this is helpful!

Hi Joseph. This could be a number of different things. With your model number I can better assist you. First thing I would do if it seems your not getting any power to the unit is check the outlet the unit plugs into. Make sure you have proper voltage at your outlet. Is this a gas or electric oven?

Hi Richard. It does appear that you have a defrost system failure. Now we need to test a few things to see which component of the defrost system is bad. Gain access to the evaporator and test your defrost heater for continuity. If you do not get any continuity your heater is bad. To be exact your heater should read about 90 ohms. Also, check your defrost fuse for continuity. IF no continuity your fuse is bad as well. If both the heater and fuse test good then it leaves the defrost sensor and control board. The sensor at 0 deg. Farenheight should read about 30k ohms and at 68 deg Farenheight should read about 6k ohms. If the sensor is out of range by more that 15% replace the senor. If the heater, sensor, and fuse all check good you will need a control board.

Hi Jerry. I was unable to find your model number either because it is incomplete or too old to find in the data base. I suspect that if your regulator is marked for both LP and Nat. gas that it can be changed. You will need to obtain the owners manual or conversion instructions to find out how to do this. Have you change the type of gas to the unit? There very well may be other things that need to be changed other than the gas regulator when converting the gas supply to then unit. If the gas supply has not been changed and your issue is low pressure to the surface burners, then converting the regulator is not going to fix the issue. The problem is going to be elsewhere. I hope this has been helpful.

HI Carole. If the serial number of your refrigerator is Prior to K333… it has the old style duck bill drain. If your serial number is after K333 it should have the new p-trap style drain tube installed already from the factory. You can always be sure by taking the back panel of the unit off and looking to see which one is install on the refrigerator. Whirlpool does cover this repair of installing the new drain tube up to two years from the purchase date of unit. I hope this was helpful!

Hi Dom. Lots of different things can cause the washer to get off balance and make noise. Are you getting any error codes on the display? Does the washer spin? UL is an error code for an off balance load. One common problem with this washer making noise is the tubbearing. Typically the noise gets worse over time. It happens in the spin cycle and gets louder the faster the basket spins. People describe it as “sounding like a jet is taking off”. If this is your issue, you have a bad tub bearing. If you look underneath the washer you may see some brown oil or liquid that has sprayed onto things from the bearing leaking. I have attached a video on replacing the bearing. I hope this was helpful!

Hi Susan. I have attached a link to a repair video that shows how to replace the pump on an LG front load washer. This may not be the same model you have. If you washer is different to where this video does not help you please send me you model number so i can look it up and get you the right info. From what you have said, I assume you have taken the filter out of the pump and cleared out any debris inside of it and it still will not drain the water out for you. You could have debris in the hose like you have said or a bad drain pump. The video will help you with either. Also, there is another way to replace the pump and get to the hoses that this video does not show. If you tilt the washer back or lay the washer on its back there is an access holed in the bottom of the cabinet. This gives you access to the pump and hoses as well. I hope this was helpful!

Hello George. Your refrigerator has a separate evaporator for the refrigerator section and is located in the back wall. This is going to be the coldest spot in your refrigerator. It doesn’t sound like you have a temp issue because nothing else is freezing in the refrigerator. Vegetables have higher moisture content and therefore are usually the first things to freeze. The vegetables should be keep in the crisper drawers of your refrigerator. These crisper drawers are designed to keep the fruits and vegetables in. Theses drawers are also going to have a humidity control that will help the veggies from freezing. Please refer to the owners manual on the proper placement of your produce and adjustments for the humidity control on your crisper drawers. You can also lower the temperature of the refrigerator if you still have issues. I hope this was helpful!

Also, check that the door closes evenly on both sides and that the unit is level in all directions. I’ve seen many dishwashers that leak out of the door seal because the unit was out of level causing the door to not close and seal properly.

If the ice maker is getting water check to make sure there is not any ice cubes or ice pieces preventing the arms of the ice maker from rotating through a cycle. You may need to pull the ice maker out to check if it is getting water and for ice jams. Also, if there is ice in the ice maker, make sure the ice maker arms are not frozen in the cubes. If they are you will need to replace the ice maker. The arms of the ice maker should be at the top and not in the ice cubes. This is a common problem with this unit. I have attached a link for a repair video on removing your ice maker and installing a new one. I hope this was helpful!
