Hi. I have attached the service manual for you. I looked at this error in the manual and it did not say anything about a possible faulty speed sensor. It is possible though. It did not say what the ohms of the sensor should be. The ohms you read compared to what you saw they should be is a significant difference. Does it require you to spin the motor as you check the ohms? Check out the steps for this error on the manual I attached. Make sure you check for any drag on the basket such as bad bearing or clothing stuck between the drum and basket. Make sure the drive pulley is tight and belt is good. Make sure the motor is mounted tight. Run the test mode for spin and see what happens also.

Hello
See technician sheet link below. Try to get it in the diagnostic mode. If it will not go into diagnostics mode base on the technician sheet link , you will need to replace the control board.

Hi. You could have a leak with in the ice maker itself or ice build up in the fill tube. I have attached a video on how to manually start the ice maker. Then watch as it cycles and fills with water to find out where the water is coming from. If the ice maker is over filling with water, the water pressure to the unit may be to high or the ice maker could be faulty.

Hi. I do not think this unit has a diagnostics or test mode. It does not have any type of control. This unit is equipped with a defrost timer. To start a defrost you will need to manually advance the defrost timer located in the control area. There should be a hole in the panel to give you access to the timer dial with out taking anything apart. Rotate it you get a click. At this time the unit will stop running and you will be in defrost mode.

Hi. I have attached the tech sheet for you. These units have had big issues with the FF fan motors. They stop running and cause frost to form on the top of the ff evap and also frozen drains in some cases. I believe the part numbers have all crossed to the updated fans now on the look ups.

That’s a tough one. Very strange it only happens with the second load. Never heard of that. If it’s just going off balance there would not be a repair for that unless your shocks are bad. Have you seen this actually happen with the second load? If it was me I would scheduled to return at a time where they have already ran their first load and call ahead of time to arrive as a second load is in spin or about to going to spin so I can actually see what is happening. Or when it fails tell them to not touch the unit do not open and leave it as is until you get there. Then put it on a drain and spin and see what happens.

Hello
See the technician manual and diagnostics. I would run diagnostics for any stored error cods. If its happening on the second load it could be a SUDS LOCK condition. Look at section 6-7 in the Job Aid diagnostics.
If too much detergent was used:
Run the unit through a RINSE/SPIN cycle.
Run a NORMAL cycle without adding any detergent.
This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
2. Is the drain standpipe higher than 9 feet, This can cause pump cavitations resulting in same failure code.
3. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
4. Check wire harness connections to the drain pump, pressure switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU).
5. Check/clean drain pump filter of foreign objects.
6. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
7. Check drain pump.
8. Check the pressure switch and pressure switch hose.
9. Verify CCU operation by running a Quick Diagnostic Test or any cycle.

Hi. I have attached the service manual for you. Does the unit have any water left in it that would be causing it to drain it out? Even if you do not see what in the tub, there still can be a good amount of water left and the unit will recognize this and try to drain it. Check to see if you have any stored error codes. If you let the unit keep draining will it give an error code? If you do not find anything at this point I would run a test cycle to see what happens. Check your pressure hose for holes, kink, and clogs.

I have attached the service manual for you. It has everything you need. It will walk you through any testing needed. Since it will only work once the water is manually drained you could have an issue with the pressure switch. Check the pressure hose for holes, kinks, and clogs. I think at this point it could only be the timer or pressure switch.

Sounds like you have a bad timer. When the unit stops draining does the timer advance to the end of the cycle? Does it do anything once it stops draining? Or will it just sit there as long as you let it? My guess at this point is a timer. Try other cycles to see if it is any different. See if the other cycles will work

Hello
Try to spin your drum by hand. If the drum spins freely check your belt. The exact symptom you are explaining sounds like a busted or missing belt. The belt needs to be in place to close the belt switch. See the service manual link below for your exact model.

These units are susceptible to electronic control issues. Are you getting a 9E1 error code?
