I feel as though I’ve checked everything on here. It’s not the heat because it’s getting plenty hot, fuse & thermostat tested fine. Control was still good, venting looked clear from inside and I checked the outdoor, even though it did seem to have some diminished air pressure it may just be due to such a long run from the laundry room. Any ideas?

I think it’s the belt but am unsure how to even get to it. Possible idler pulley too that I may need to take with me just in case.

LG dryer starts and heats when cold but after unit heats up it shuts off like the board drops the load lights on but no start.
won’t restart until cools slightly but then drops off again and repeats. I am thinking bad board anything else about LG dryers,
I don’t know about. No Fault codes?

This dryer was making a loud knocking noise. I thought there was to much play in the rear bearing, so I replaced it. Front drum slides exhibited no cracks and appeared to be sound. Now it is making on intermittent hammering sound. I don’t have any more ideas and would appreciate anyone else’s. Thank you.

I think this is just the element, but am now unable to find the number. Can somebody help me out?

Found the element bowed from repeated overheating and the hi limit open. Looks like I’ll need that entire element assembly. What’s the pricing and availability of it?

This unit was acting up and I reset the board. It seems to be working fine now. But just in case it fails again, can I get the part information from you?

I need the part information for glides & a front upper bearing. Thanks!

I reset the control and it seems to be working fine now, but explained to the customer I’d have to order parts if it happens again. Would need new electronic control and thermistor. Think you could get me that part information just in case? Thank you.

Have taken it apart already and found the drive motor bad. Can’t find the lookup and figured you’d have it.

I’ve been trying to find an element for this dryer, it’s not heating and I’m pretty positive this is what it needs. Am having a heck of a time tracking it down.

I found the thermal fuse blown and reset it. Seems to be working fine now. Should I just replace it to be safe? Am assuming it will happen again and would save a trip charge for the customer.

I have a call scheduled to run and haven’t worked on many of these, I’m assuming it will be a simple fix, maybe an element, but wanted to know if you had any information on them that would help to familiarize myself? Thanks.

Checked all the usual suspects, found nothing, moving parts are good, supports, belts, idler, etc. I’m sure you’ll know right away but I’m at a loss.

Initially thought it was the bearing, but there’s no squealing. Looked at all the moving parts, they check out. Can freely spin the tub and hear it but it’s much worse when running.

Not very knowledgeable on these yet and am wondering if it’s a bearing like many other brands? Has a slight rubbing noise as well, am thinking it may be more than one thing but not sure. Any help would be great.

Just wanted to post a reminder to all those out there that may read this: I’ve had more burning smell & lint build ups this year than ever before. Just came across another today. Many have had a flame rollout has already caused some burning lint and there’s limited air flow causing long dry times. Please be sure to clean out these dryers if you’re in there working on them already, and if you can’t get the vent completely cleared, have a professional come do it, or strongly suggest it to the customer. This becomes such a serious fire hazard when left alone and unnoticed.

Looks like the relay on the control board for their gas heat is bad & it needs a control module. Problem is, we don’t do many of this brand and I don’t have a lookup for this dryer. Any way someone could get me part information?

This unit just runs non-stop, does not shut off. Ohm’d everything out and looks like the pcb board is bad. In need of a part number and cost if you have it.

I had an element replacement come up as a whirlpool 35001247. Is that right? I was thinking it’d be a DC number or a different prefix. Wanted to make sure this wasn’t an error before ordering. Thanks.

This unit isn’t starting, I think I’ve narrowed it down to the idler pulley but can’t find a schematic for the lookup and part information. Any help?

This dryer is in an apartment laundry. The complaint from residents is the dryer turns itself off and shows there is still time remaining but the dryer is not running. I suspect this would be a timer issue. When the dryer is running the temperature at the vent is approximately 155 degrees. A couple of other questions I have about the coin operated aspect is, Can you set the time for how long the dryer will run on a set of quarters or is the only setting you can adjust is how many quarters it takes to run a load. There is a similar complaint on a second whirlpool dryer at this same location. It does not stop mid cycle but it does not dry the clothes with one set of quarters.

Have a gas dryer not starting, think I’ve narrowed it down to a thermistor and thermal fuse, but am having a hard time on the lookup, do you have that information handy?
