so the evap fan works
the issue i see is that the compressor will go on.
i unplugged it and reconnected it i here a streaking sound for 2 -3 seconds and then it goes off.
i did feel the compressor and it seems hot

so the customer said that the machine will not turn on.
when i got there i open the controls and saw a red light flashing tried to turn it on and it went.
i did see the igniter ignite and all was fine.
the customer called me back to say that it dose turn on but will not heat

so im getting a E51 error and the customer state that the dryer keeps on running

so the washer will not go on.
i did see that when i unplugged it and put it back on the lights went on for a sec

i tested the lid switch and its good.
i tested for power on the timer and its good.
the dryer works but the washer nothing hap[pends

Looking for tuturial or video to access defrost bi metal in freezer. Steve

We have a SXS refrigerator, customer complaint it’s frosting around inner door frame.
This customer has had 2 other companies out also. First company out, leveled unit ad adjusted doors.
2nd company out found no problem at all.
We were dispatched the call by Frigidaire. We went out the customer had cleaned everything up, so no evidence of a problem. We checked everything that could cause problem, nothing apparent. we advised the customer if it happens again. Leave it, don’t clean it so we can see it etc.
She called us out again in about 2 weeks (you have to love warranties like this) she had small frozen water spots on the lower freezer door shelves about the size of a half dollar. Similar to if the ice bucket was dripping although their is no evidence that it is.
1) ice door not leaking air and is closing in under 8 seconds.
2) no air leaks around gasket at all. Passes dollar bill test.
3) no air leaks around fill spout at icemaker
This one is a real head scratcher as it’s an absentee owner and anyone that is there is 0 help.
Tech line is NO help at all.
Has anyone else run into anything similar issue ?

So I changed the coils and the igniter and the senser.
The falme still will go on for 5 to ten seconds and then go off.
And will repeat about 1 minute later
I have have taken the vent off of the back and no difference

How do you test the control board on this refridgerator and how to make it defrost?

The customer hasn’t used their ice maker in the ice room (fresh food section) in a couple years because it stopped making ice. Today I was there, all around the ice maker mold and motor it was covered in heavy frost. I got that out of the way. There were cubes on the “fingers” of the evaporator. I have never worked on this type of ice maker before and need some guidance on how to trouble shoot it
The mold was below the fingers (not sure what they’re called).
Can this ice maker be forced cycled?
Do you have a video on how to take it out and inspect it?
I understand there’s a fan motor in behind it, I did not hear it running.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

so the temp in the freezer is not freezing.
i open the back unit the coils are frozen .
i put the unit into defrost and i can hear the ice melting . however i believe there is too much ice for it to melt before the cycle is done.
i tested the timer and it went back into a normal cycle what can the issue be?

We have aproblem with this unit. it doesn’t make any ice . We found for sure the one of inlet valve coils is open ,
but the same time we can hear some strange knocking sound from the ice maker .
We never worked on this kind of ice maker before ,it looks kind of strange one for us
Any help would really appreciate

Hi, I have a Frigidaire refrigerator not making Ice. I changed the ice maker and still not making Ice, water pressure is Ok and filter recently changed. I noticed I couldn’t turn the euger motor by hand. I’ll appreciated if you could help me.

We went out to change the dispenser paddle on a frigidaire refrigerator. After changing it out the auger motor continuously ran. disconnected micro switch for paddles and auger motor still continuously ran. Changed out power board, still the same problem. Changed out user interface board. Still the same problem. Also Ohmed out wires inside door for possible short. This did not do this till I changed the paddles. Anyone have a direction to go in ? GOOD AFTERNOON. I CHECKED OUT THE UNIT AND FOUND THE WATER DISPENSER WORKING, BUT NO WATER FLOWING INTO THE ICE TRAY. I SAW THE TINES IN THE ICE TRAY MOVE AND THE METAL ARM RISE AND DROP. I PULLED THE WATER LINE AND THE WATER PRESSURE WAS A LITTLE WEAK NOT TO BAD. I TESTED ALL THE SOLINOIDS ON THE WATER INLET VALVE AND GOT SOME OHMS ON EACH, BUT WHEN I CHECKED FOR VOLTAGE, THERE WAS 110 AT THE WHITE AND YELLOW, BUT LOW VOLTS AT THE GREEN. AFTER ALL THIS I LOOKED AT THE ICE MAKER AGAIN AND THE TINES WERE ROTATING AND THE ARM ROSE AND DROPPED AGAIN. I DO HAVE BOTH THE WATER INLET VALVE AND THE ICE MAKER IN MY HAND. COULD BOTH PIECES BE BAD? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT, THANKS. TODD FROM NY.

When I push the start button u hear the motor trying to start and then goes dead.
I changed the belt worked for one cycle and then stoped

The temperature in the freezer at 17 degrees
I cleaned the coils and I feel cold air blowing inside the freezer as well
