the ice dispenser when the button is pressed and released it keeps running

Hi. I have attached the tech sheet for you. It sounds like you paddle is sticking or is faulty. If you press the paddle again will it shut off? How long is it running before it stops? It looks like you have just the one paddle to dispense ice and water. Does the water continue to run as well? If the auger is the only one staying on and it does not shut off you could have a stuck relay on the control board. Looks like the main control would control the auger. p# WPW10259858 The paddle is no longer available. It is p # W10176456. The dispenser cover assembly would include the paddle but this par is no longer available as well. It is p # W10179005

Thank you Brian I had attempted to take the dispenser panel off to get look at what was going on with the button after breaking the panel I found out the panel was not available. Well, I’ll have to look on eBay for a used panel. and order the main control board. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly and for sending me the tech sheet. Bill Neighborhood appliance
