How do I unlock bottom door.
I can remove oven because it is not mounted to cabinet with screws. It takes two people unless there is another way using dolly or other method.
I believe safety thermal fuse has blown. What location is fuse.

Hi. I have attached a service pointer on this issue for you as well as the tech sheet. IF you have no power at all then the control cavity fuse is most likely faulty. If you have no heat from bake or broil then your Thermal fuse on the rear of the unit is most likely bad. Both of these could have gone bad at the same time during the self clean. The tech sheet shows how to test these components and where they are located. Once you replace the faulty fuses the door should unlock. In most cases you need to get the door unlocked to get to the mounting screws before you can uninstall the unit. This has to be done to be able to gain access to any of the ovens components. So, if you ever do need to open either door when they are locked, you will need a small “L” shaped sturdy object. You will need to fit this between the door and the frame. Starting on the right side slide it over to push the door lock to the left to unlock the door while you pull the door open. I have used a small hack saw blade that i bent in to the right shape or a pick tool.

Thanks,, that should work because oven is not screwed into cabinet. Is there a dolly or some method to move this oven out without help? It is fairly low to the ground.
  • I have seen an oven dolly before. Not sure how low they would go or where you would find one.
