Unit will run to countdown of 1 on timer then stays there running without draining. Yet it will drain fine if reset or stopped and another cycle is started. Its spotlessly clean and customer just stops it, resets it so it drains and takes her dishes out. Aqua sensor? board? Cant find a diagnostic manual for this or a tech sheet. Im just learning dishwashers.

What have you tried so far?

Cursed the cabinets that allowed it to be placed there. I felt brave after taking an asko dishwasher on and fixing it previous day. Im a fridge tech crossing over. Much learning to do on these.

You must be at the drain pump with your meter set to voltage and see if drain pump is getting 110-125 volts ac while in drain cycle (during failure) . If so, then you have an issue with the drain pump. I understand that it does drain when reset, therefore it is most likely in the control, however you must test for power at drain pump during failure with no other way to determine issue. please test voltage at drain pump during failure before going further. proper voltage = bad drain pump, improper voltage = bad control

Hello
Have you checked the pump to see there is any restriction in the pump causing it not to drain ? Start there and make sure they did not recently install a garbage disposer, if so check the drain knockout on the disposer.

well, I dont think you read what I wrote. Unit drains fine when switched to a different cycle or stopped and reset. That eliminates your suggestions of a knockout or a restriction.
