Frigidaire combo laundry system, model FFLE3911QW0 stopped and I retrieved error code EC6. The entry from the tech sheet is pasted below. How should I troubleshoot this, or what are the likely causes of this?

Hello
The EC6 error is a clutch alarm positioning timeout to reach or failure to stay in desired position .
Possible causes
1) Clutch mechanism failure
2) Main board defective
3) Wiring/connection problem
Reset error code
START = press the selector now to start the cycle
RESET = press the selector knob for 5 sec
ON/OFF = power off reset (POR), unplug unit for a 5 – 8 seconds and plug back in

Thanks! I ultimately found a loose wire on the shift actuator and that fixed it.
