so the freezer keeps freezing up. not cooling the way it shold .
every 2 weeks we defrost the coils and it freezes back up.
tested the thermostat and there is continuity and the heater as well.
how do i know if it goes into deforst as it is an electronic system

SO on this we use process of elimination. You have tested the heater and thermostat, the only thing left is the control. We know it still is not defrosting because if freezes back up.
