I looked at the boot but couldn’t find anything wrong with it. I did however find a “small wave” near the bottom of the boot.
Is it possible for the boot to leak if the lip is not perfectly round?
Also, if so, do you have the repair manual on how to replace the boot on this model?

Yes it is possible to leak if front tub bellow is deformed. I have attached a video of LG bellow replacement for you.
