Yes, there is a fix for the old plastic tab nut. The new part number kit is DC82-0197X . You will need to have your own lock tight, it does not come with the kit and you definitely need it. See video link below for help . Make sure you put the unit not service mode first , then test mode . This is important to get right because during a normal repair tech MUST use service mode before test mode to avoid deleting saved error codes. Matt Ace technician .
