Hello
See the service mode zone status on page 3-33. Then go page #8-4 Service mode menu. To test zone #3 thermister go to page 7-11 in the link below. This technician service manual has all information needed to properly diagnose your issue.
Upper Refrigerator (Zone 3) Evaporator Thermistor
1) The upper refrigerator evaporator thermistor is inserted into the third opening from the top in the evaporator fins
left side, and extending approximately to the center of the evaporator.

Hello
See the technician diagnostic sheet link below along with the wireing diagram. A few things to check
1) ( Automatic Lock Out)
This shuts down both ice and water mechanisms of dispenser when either mechanism has run continuously for 3 minutes. To return power to dispenser, press and hold DISPENSER LOCK for 3 seconds. Auger motor shuts off automatically after 3 minutes of continuous operation. After about 3 minutes in shut-off state, auger motor resets automatically.
2) There is an internal fuse in the ice maker harness on the ( RD ) number #4 pin . If this is open it will not cycle.
3) The (HVPCB) The High voltage control board also sends power don to the ice maker.
Hope this helps Matt Ace technician

Hi. I have attached a tech sheet for you. This is the closest tech sheet to your unit that I could find.
- Brian, Ace Appliance answered 8 years ago
No sure what the flag means? There is no sensor to stop the icemaker from refilling. Your fill tube may have been plugged with ice not allowing it to refill. The unit does not really have any safety mechanism.

Hello
You are correct on the control board sub number. I look on the factory GE website, there is not any modifications in the lookup for the control board. This is a 2013 modle and I have a link below for the service manual and wiring diagram. It is very unusual to have a modification on a part without instructions. I would call or order the exact part again to see if you recieved a part that opened and returned without installation instructions. Many times you can ask your local distributer to look in the box for you to see if there are instructions. Matt Ace technician

Yes I got the picture that is the cover. To be honest I usually just grab the assembly and give it a hard yank and it usually comes out. Take a look from the inside with a flashlight first at the fill cup and tube to make sure its not a complete block of ice.

Hi. I have attached the tech sheet for you. It shows there are 2 pressures switches. Did you replace both of them? It sounds like you may have an issue with the timer, possibly. It may be losing contact inside during the rinse cycle. Try the different cycles to see if any work properly on the rinse cycles. Also, do you have have the load size on the largest setting? Try setting it on the lowest water level, then once it fills to that level change it to the next level and see if it continues to fill that the next level. I have attached the tech sheet for you.

There is also a locking tab on the left side of the ice maker assembly that needs to be released with a flat head screwdriver as well.
- Matt Jr, Ace Appliance answered 8 years ago
Your are most likely being obstructed by the small part of the ice maker fill tube that is hitting on the ice maker fill cup. It may be frozen and it makes it difficult to get the assembly out. If you get to the top of the refrigerator there will be a cover on the top left that you can remove and that will give you access to the fill tube. You can try to gently lift up on the fill tube by grabbing it with a pair of pliers and lifting it up an inch or so. This should allow you to remove the ice maker assembly. Hope this helps.

Hello
I would first Enter the refrigerator Service Diagnostics Mode: Run complete diagnostics with the technician sheet . Then run ice maker diagnostics with the (Troubleshooting low profile ice maker & Ice Maker Diagnostic Codes) Sheet. Matt Ace technician
NOTE: Refrigerator must not be in lockout mode prior to entering Service
Diagnostic mode.
1. Press SW1 and SW2 simultaneously for 3 seconds.
2. Release both buttons when you hear the CHIME indicator. The display will
show “01” to indicate the control is in Step 1 of the diagnostics routine.
