Hello
We use A PRO-Charge Freon Refrigerant Scale when charging to dial in the exact amount of refrigerant recommended by the factory nameplate. We also make sure we bleed the refrigerant of air before charging and and evacuate the system. We have charged and replaced over 1000 compressors and evaporators. We were trained by Whirlpool factory trainers to charge liquid on the low / suction side. We have NEVER had any issues charging this way . I believe your issues or secondary problem are a plugged braze on refrigerant line or filter dryer . You need to go back and evaluate the unit by putting g the gauges on to check your pressures. Hello
If you replaced the defrost heater, thermostat, and main control board. I suggest you replace the two temperature sensors part numbers below. If a sensor is defective it will cause Ice/ Frost build up on the coil. If you replaced the sensors and still have an issue replace the main control board. We have had a few new bad control boards out of the box. Matt Ace technician

Hello
Is it not cooling in the refrigerator and freezer ? Is it partially cooling at all in either section ? Is the compressor running? Have you looked at the evaporator frost pattern ? Is the evaporator fan motor running ? When you say not cooling there are too many variables. You need to give us specifics otherwise we are just guessing . You have two boards in the unit 1) Power Supply Board ) Main control board. If you have lights on in the unit that is a good indication your power supply board is functioning properly. You will need to run the unit through diagnostics to verify the proper diagnoses.

Hello
See manual link below there is a troubleshooting guide starting on page #33 . If the inverter board is blinking its detecting a motor current voltage error. The cause cold be : 1) A bad condenser fan motor . 2) Locked up compressor . 3) Defective inverter board. You can purchase the inverter board and condenser motor at Repairclinic.com and buy it to try it for up to 1-year return policy. If you can OHM out the condenser motor you can eliminate that , if not get both parts and if they do not fix the issue you have a defective compressor. Matt Ace technician
