Why do my dishes seem to not get completely dry like my older model I had for years? Really bugging me that I have to hand dry some items even after a “heat dry” is on.

Fayda, newer models seem to have this common problem among users. I think mostly because of shorter dry times due to energy saving functions as well as a lack of high temperature water used. I’d suggest using your “high temp” option if possible, and letting them sit just a bit longer after the cycle finishes to see if they will dry a bit more before removing the dishes. Sorry to say there aren’t many actual fixes for this.

Also, the use of rinse aid will help dry the dishes better. If you are using rinse aid already, you can increase the amount of rinse aid that is dispensed under the rinse aid cap on the dispenser.
