I ran the diagnostic tests and started the compressor and checked the components and everything checked. Once I exited the test mode the unit restarted, compressor and fans. Could it be a bad main board? It was not cooling because the compressor and condenser motor were not running but the evaporator motor was running at high speed, and the freezer display had Op displaying. The customer had removed the ice maker and dispenser.

OP ERROR : Freezer sensor open in freezer display Check wiring between thermistor and board. If correct, replace thermistor. I have also attached a reference sheet on error code diagnostics as well. If you click on the “See the repair guide to fix it yourself” in the “Check/Repair” column on the sheet it will give you detailed information and repair help on the particular error code you have.
