Hello
See technical service link below and go to page #318 for more diagnostics. Here are a few things to verify .Matt Ace technician
1) Access Forced Operation Mode and turn on the defrost heater. You should hear the relay(s) click when activated. Verify the 12v supply to the relays and the defrost heater(s).
2. Verify the continuity of the bimetal and/or thermal fuse in the defrost circuit.
3. Check the wiring harness for poor connections.
4. Check the operation of the defrost circuit, especially the defrost sensors and bimetal elements. Verify the defrost heater is not turning off to early .
5. Check the freezer defrost sensor feedback line by measuring the voltage level at the Main PC Board and comparing it to the sensor table.

In reply to: 7e error code

Hello Tom there are two different possibilities it could be. 1) The wiring harness. 2) The Main PCB . You are going to need to go there and check the wiring harness to make sure there are good connections and run the unit through diagnostics. Use the fast track troubleshooting guide that I gave you to verify the main PCB is bad if the wiring harness is okay. Wish I could give you a more definitive answer but I can’t. Would hate to see you take the wrong part.

Hello
I have provided a service diagnostics manual. If you have 115 volts to the compressor try a new 3IN1 hard start kit, you may have a locked up compressor . Matt Ace technician

In reply to: Not cleaning dishes

Hello
A few things you need to check for :
1) Make sure the customer is using the correct detergent and not using too much detergent.
2) Make sure the unit is filling properly with enough water, low water pressure will cause this issue.
3) Extremely hard water mineral deposits can cause damage to your dishwasher and make it
difficult to achieve good cleaning. A water softener is strongly recommended if your hardness is
15 grains or more. If a water softener is not installed, the following steps may help:
Use a commercial cleaner designed for dishwashers once per month. Clean the upper and lower filters at least once per month.
4) Always use a rinse aid.Always use a high-quality, fresh detergent. Use a detergent booster/water softener additive designed for dishwashers. Be sure the dishwasher is loaded correctly. Improper loading can greatly decrease the washing performance.
5) Be sure the incoming water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C). Use the proper amount of fresh detergent. More detergent is needed for heavier-soiled loads and hard water conditions. Make sure the customer is Scraping food from dishes prior to loading.
6) Check you pump screen to make sure it is not plugged with food.

In reply to: ice maker conversion

Hello
You will need to replace the harness assembly with the instructions provided in the kit. We do not have a video for this conversion yet. There is a difference in the color coding on the ice maker plug, the new wiring harness also includes a new thermistor. Choose the one you need to replace yours based on the type of ice maker and model that was originally installed in your refrigerator. The instructions are in the box, follow them to the letter.Take pictures of the wiring before you disconnect the old ice maker. Know what wire goes where. There is a ground connector/screw in the new wiring harness that is VERY difficult to get to to remove as well as replace. Matt Ace technician

Hello
It sounds like you have a shorted spark igniter. See the service update on the spark igniter for your model and complete product diagnostic manual. Matt Ace technician

In reply to: No bake and no broil.

Hello
Based on the Component Testing Procedures on page #2 and #3 in the link below the igniters are both in the amp range. You can verify the other components based on the guidelines on page 2/ 3. Are you getting any error codes from the control panel ? Look at page #4 on the Control Testing Procedures and run through the diagnostics. This should show an error code and give you a direction on how to proceed forward. The odds of a new defective electronic control board is VERY low. I would run the unit through diagnostics. Hello
See the technician sheet and video links below. If you are not getting water to the ice maker and water dispenser you need to determine what is causing this issue and I am sure it will correct the water filter housing unit from opening. Here are a few things to check.
1) Do you have good water pressure to the inlet valve ? If not replace saddle valve.
2) If you have no water to ice maker and dispenser you may have a water line frozen inside the refrigerator door, shut the unit down with the freezer door open for 24 hours to see if the line defrosts and corrects the issue. If the temperature falls under 32 degrees it will freeze the inlet water line causing this issue.
3) Check for condensation / ice around the filter housing head. If you see any look at the service bulletin link below.

In reply to: Oe code on display

Hello
The OE error is Possible :
1) connections for the Overflow Sensor connector.
2) Check whether the Inlet Valve operates normally.
Use t1 service inspection mode.
3) 3. Check whether water is supplied (even small
amounts) in the intervals when the Inlet Valve is not operating.
See manual link below and go to 4-8 . Matt Ace technician

Hello
I looked up the wash pump for your model . It comes up to part #WD26X23258. Where did you look up your part ? The part I looked up does not come with a harness. I would check your parts distributor to verify you have the correct pump. I believe it is not correct. Matt Ace technician

Hello
There is no service bulletins on this issue. The temperature display has a self-diagnosis mode that can be accessed and will help the technician to test certain functions of the temperature display, defrost heater, damper, and interior fans. This mode can aid the service technician in quickly identifying failed or improper operation of certain components and systems.
Control diagnostics using the display does not use error codes to identify problems. Instead, the temperature
display allows access to components or systems to be checked if a problem is detected.
The temperature display must be in an active mode before entering the self-diagnosis test. If the display is
blank, press any temperature button once, then release it. The display will show actual temperatures.
Enter the diagnostic mode by pressing both the freezer temperature (COLDER and WARMER) pads and
the refrigerator temperature (COLDER and WARMER) pads simultaneously. All four pads must be held for
approximately 3 seconds. Blinking “00”s in both the freezer and refrigerator sections of the display indicate
the refrigerator has entered the test mode. Remove fi ngers within 5 seconds and press any pad to lock-in
the test mode. The blinking “00”s will change over to solid (non-blinking) “0”s when the test mode is lockedin.
Failure to lock-in the test mode within 30 seconds will time out the test and return the refrigerator to the
normal cooling mode. See complete diagnostic error codes on page #53 in the diagnostic link below. Matt Ace technician

Hello
If this failure is displayed, there is any malfunction of the steamer component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board.
Possible Causes/Procedure :
1) Check to see if pressure hose is fixed correctly.
2) Check to see if the airtrap is not blocked.
3) Verify the hose is not blocked.

Hi. I have attached the service manual on this unit for you. We use a number of different resources to get tech sheets and other information from . Unfortunately, there is not one site or place that will have every tech sheet or piece of information. This makes it difficult to sort and search through everything sometimes. This one was difficult to find. Sorry, I wish I had a better answer for you.
