Hello
On your Frigidaire dishwasher “i30” stands for aqua control. You should perform a reset on your dishwasher and that could clear any false error codes. To reset your dishwasher you can flip the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. If that does not work you could be experiencing an issue with your water inlet valve or control panel. See the technician sheet below with all of the diagnostics . I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt

Hello
See service manual and diagnostic links below. These units have an air damper assembly that feeds the ice maker. Sometimes you get frost in the air passages and it will cause this exact issue. You will need to shut the unit down for 24 hours with the doors open to correct the issue. We have had two with this issue that corrected the problem. Matt Ace technician

In reply to: DW not drying dishes

Hi. I have attached the english tech sheet for you. IF both the heater and thermal cut off test good it would only leave the control board or wiring. These newer dishwasher do not dry well. THey will not dry like the old dishwashers. Rinse aid is a must. Make sure they use rinse aid as it will help with drying. Also, make sure they are using the heated dry option in the cycle. There is also a vent and a fan that runs to help dry. Check the trouble shooting section in the tech sheet on drying, and check the heater and dying cycle circuits in the tech sheet. You can run the diagnostic cycle and check to see if the heater comes on once it gets to that point.

In reply to: reasons for no defrost

Hi I have attached the tech sheet for you which shows how to manually put the unit into defrost. There are only a few parts to the defrost system. The heater, a bi metal, a ADC board, and possibly a defrost sensor(although most do not have one). If you put the unit into defrost and the heater comes on then you have a bad ADC and it will need to be replaced.

Hello
See technician sheets and diagnostics links below. Upon inspection look for any issues with the tub rubbing or something stuck between the tub. If you do not see any its a very strong possibility the grarcase is making the noise. Matt Ace technician

Hello
See technician sheet link below. This sounds like a defrost issue if it is off for 12 hours or more to defrost the evaporator. Also see the service bulletin on the ADC control. Matt Ace technician

Hello
Are you getting any error codes ? have you checked the bake igniter to see if it is shutting down due to a weak igniter. Have you checked for proper voltage in to unit ? See test mode below and diagnostic links below.

A defrost sensor not working properly might allow too long of defrost cycle. I would probably replace it, especially since it is a common weak point. Matt Ace technician

SERVICE DIAGNOSTICS CYCLE NOTES
NOTE 1. To invoke the Diagnostics Cycle, perform
the following key presses or actions in less than 6 sec
while in standby:
Heated Dry ⇒ Normal ⇒ Heated Dry ⇒ Normal

! To rapid advance one interval at a time, press the
Start/Resume key.

! Invoking Service Diagnostics clears all status and
last ran information from memory and restores
defaults; It also forces the next cycle to be a sensor
calibration cycle.
Calibration cycles begin with a “sensor check” to
determine whether the dishwasher has an OWI soil
sensor. If the control detects an OWI, it forces two
rinses to occur prior to Final Rinse (to assure clear
water), then calibrates the OWI during the fi nal
rinse.
NOTE 2. Turn on all LEDs immediately upon
receiving entry sequence (even if door open) and
throughout this fi rst interval as a display test.
NOTE 3. On numeric time display models, display
the following software information after the initial
display test:
! Interval 18 – Dishwasher control platform number
(“d3” Raptor/Tall Tub, “d2” Cheetah/Briva, “d1”
Rush/Tall Tub, “d0” New Gen).
! Interval 17, 16, 15 – Software generation number
(“incremented” for each release of software to
production).
NOTE 4. If fl owmeter is operating correctly, the
control will turn on the Clean LED when fl owmeter
counts 3 or more pulses anytime during these
intervals.
NOTE 5. Thermistor (temperature sensor) checks:
! Turn Clean LED on if thermistor is in its normal
temperature range of 62°F–160°F (17°C–71°C).
! Turn sanitized LED on if thermistor is above
100°F (38°C).
NOTE 6. OWI (optical soil sensor) checks:
! Check OWI sensor for the presence of clear water
during the 5 sec pause in interval 13 and turn on the
Clean LED in interval 12 if clear water detected.
! Check OWI sensor for the presence of air during the
last 5 sec of Drain interval 3 and turn on the Clean
LED in interval 2 if air detected.
! Check OWI sensor for presence of bulk soil in the
water during pause interval 8; execute max. allowed
APFs and turn on Clean LED in interval 7 if bulk soil
detected.
