How can I winterize my dishwasher for my summer cottage. I drain all the water from the system and use the air compressor to finalize so no water is in the lines. RV antifreeze to the traps.
Can you assist? I saw many of your you tube videos for how tos but not on the dishwasher winterization
Thanks

Having troubles getting my kitchen aid dishwasher to start model number KUD01ILBL6 I rebooted it by pushing scrub and energy button x5 alternating waiting and then push cancel button 1 x and no success. Is this the correct rebooting technique for this dishwasher, and what else can I do????

I replaced the touchpad panel about 2 weeks ago and now it is acting up. It finished a cycle and the clean light came on but two other LEDs came on faintly and are now constantly on…….nothing can make them go out .
The LEDs are for the “Potscrub” and “Heat Dry” if that helps any.
I hope the panel isn’t toast already and if so WHY??

Frigidaire dishwasher bottom arm works great upper arm does not turn because the water does not go all the way to the top of the tube that runs up the side and to the top of the dishwasher and then shoots down to the upper wash arm . I have added more water and that does not help . If I stop the washer and restart it in a few seconds the water will start then flowing strong to the upper rack threw the tube . When this happens the lower arm them gets no water to it . I did take the motor out and found some glass in the motor wheel , removed the glass and reinstalled the motor but that did not help the problem. The motor runs and seems to be running fine could the motor not be running as fast as it should and be the problem ? Only thing I can think is maybe a motor problem , the motor does seem to be running ok .

Frigidaire dishwasher Model FDB51OLCS3 The water will not go all the way to the top of the tube to flow into the upper rack wash arm so it will turn . If you take the ball out of the sump the water will then flow to the upper wash arm but the arm still will not turn . Do not see anything in the sump blocking the water flow.

I had this touch pad replaced on my dishwasher less than a year ago. Could this one be dead already? The repairman also replaced the control unit but it turns out it didn’t need replacing anyway.
I decided myself to replace the door latch because the old one was broken and the repairman last year threw out the handle part!! GRRRR! Some repairman! The latch is the new improved design anyway.
I checked the big fuse and it is good with power all the way to the control board.
Not sure what else can go bad on this model? I have a new touch pad panel coming but if that doesn’t fix it what is my next area to look at?
Thanks for any help.

Hi –
My kitchenaid dishwasher (3 years old) is leaking water under the right bottom side of the door. It is not a lot of water, and my first attempt to fix it was cleaning the seal, which had some small amount of scum on it. This fixed it temporarily, but a few days later the water leak was back. It is not a lot of water, and doesn’t happen during the rinse only cycle, apparently. Any ideas/thoughts on this would be very useful. It is a stainless steel kitchenaid dishwasher, similar to model KDTE104DSS.
Thanks!
Adam
