my LG dryer is not heating properly. Do you have any suggestions to resolve this issue?

THE CUSTOMER IS TELLING ME THAT THERE IS HEAT, BUT THE DRYING IS TAKING TOO LONG. I DID NOT GO TO SEE IT YET, COULD SOMEONE WALK ME THROUGH THE DIAGNOSIS? THANK, TODD FROM NY.

So I changed the coils and the igniter and the senser.
The falme still will go on for 5 to ten seconds and then go off.
And will repeat about 1 minute later
I have have taken the vent off of the back and no difference

My GE dryer smells like gas.

My GE dryer is not level.

Timer will not advance, Over heats, No heat at all.

I am working on a Kenmore HE3. I have replaced the coils and the ( cycling thermostat ). And the burner continues to run for about 10-12 seconds then shuts off. After a few minutes, the igniter comes on, the gas valve opens up and the burner starts and run for 10 seconds or so, then shuts off, and the cycle continues.
I think it’s the gas valve, but before my customer spends that kind of money. I want a second opinion. What do you think, and why?

GOOD MORNING. I CHANGED THE COILS, AND THE BURNER WILL NOT LITE. WHEN THE START BUTTON IS PUSHED THERE IS SOME WHAT OF A CLICK AND THEN A VERY LOUD WHINNING-BUZZING SOUND, THEN THE ELEMENT GLOWS, THEN AFTER ABOUT 10 SECONDS A SECOND CLICK, THEN IT SHUTS DOWN. IT WILL REPEAT THIS CYCLE OVER AND OVER. I HAVE CONTINUITY AT THE FLAME SENSOR AND THE IGNITER OHMED OUT AT .5, I BELIEVE, BUT NO CONTINUITY BUZZ. I THEN TOUCHED THE IGNITER SOME WHAT LIGHTLY AND IT BROKE IN TWO VERY EASILY. I HAVE A LOCAL PARTS PLACE THAT WILL TEST THE VALVE IF I TAKE IT TO HIM. I HAVE HEARD OF GAS STOVES NOT IGNITING BECAUSE THE IGNITER IS STARTING TO FAIL AND DOES NOT REACH PROPER TEMP FOR THE GAS TO FLOW, MIGHT THIS BE SIMILAR? THANKS, TODD FROM NY.

The cycle ended .
As wife was takeing the load out the light went off.
And now the whef we press the start button the lights in the front go on but will not start.

My Whirlpool dryer will not start, just makes a humming noise.

When I push the start button u hear the motor trying to start and then goes dead.
I changed the belt worked for one cycle and then stoped

First complain was that the dryer is making noise. We had complete open in the back of the unit and front to clean.
We put it together and power turns on and no turning the drum at all.

You can start the dryer again it will just shut off completely. What do you think this could be?

The controls on my dryer will not respond.

This is a coin operated electric dryer. When it is started, the minutes display shows 45 and the light on the top panel is on for “cooling down” instead of “drying”. The heat cycles on and off and the time display counts down normally to 1 minute and remains at 1 minute, and the dryer continues to run and heat and doesn’t shut off. I’m suspecting the timer is the issue. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Wall mount GE dryer:When press start bottom starts but doesn’t continue running.is it the motore?

on this unit it will start only while the push to start button is held down.

The light on my GE dryer is not working.

I just used my dryer yesterday and it worked fine, but today I went to get the load out and it was still damp. Doesn’t seem to be blowing any hot air out. What do you think the problem could be?

This dryer does not heat, plus in any cycle it will shut down after 2 minutes of running. The heater is bad, but not sure if the other problem is the most likely cause of the motor, or if it is the board. Any ideas?
