I was advised to switch the button control units as the top drawer selector will not move from rinse.
How do I access those controls? Is there a walk through? Diagram?
Do I need a serviceman yet??

What can I do to change that? Or is it not possible? Just doesn’t seem to be the same and I’m not sure if it’s a good thing.

Clean light blinks 7 times. I have no idea what this means. A Tech Sheet would be greatly appreciated. There is not one with the DW.
Turning off the power to the DW does not reset the light. Thank you.

This is actually a series made by Whirlpool 810-811. The motor is not running and water doesn’t drain. However, the board will still go thru its cycles as if it is working properly. Is there a reset button somewhere on this unit to start the motor? This is a 12 year unit which I’ve probably used half a dozen times.

What recommendations can you provide as I’m a DIY’er?

Can I just fix or adhere the existing seal in place or will I have to replace the entire thing? Couldn’t find a video for my model#. Thanks.

I think it’s a thermal fuse that I’ve narrowed down but couldn’t find a video on actually replacing it or if I need more than that. Any help would be great.

I own an appliance repair company in Texas. I have found the upper rack may disengage from the rails when the
customer pulls the upper rack out to load or unload the dishes
Wheel axle breaks and causes upper rack to fall when pulled out on many of the dishwashers.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance James.

Why do my dishes seem to not get completely dry like my older model I had for years? Really bugging me that I have to hand dry some items even after a “heat dry” is on.

Not sure what’s happened to our dishwasher door, it seems to not really ease open like it used to.

Samsung dw 1E error code, model DW80F800UWS/AA, serial B009g9md604628d
This is supposed to be a high temp heating error. Had schematic for DMT800 series dishwasher with me. This wire diagram did not match the wire diagram on the main pcb cover on dw. Did not see thermistor listed on dw wire diagram on unit.
Heating element had 12 ohms, but no power going to it in quick wash cycle. Could not get it into diagnostic mode.
What should I be checking? I am guessing you need to pull the unit to get to components like LG brands?

I am working on a GE dishwasher model# GLD4456R00CS and the unit had gotten hit by a power surge and burnt out control board. I replaced control board kit ( cam with both control board and touch control board w/ connector harness). Now the clean light keeps blinking steady no pauses, and the touch pads do not work. I checked connections but all good. A bad new touch control or something else? No service tech sheet in unit.
Any help greatly appreciated thanks.

I am going to ask this question again – I think that maybe I am not sure how to use the site – because I am not sure how to respond to the answer that Matt provided to me. The answer was not helpful because as I indicated I had already turned the power off to the dishwasher and that did not work.
Hi Mat The clean light flashes 4 times, stops for a bit and then flashes 4 times again continuously (the manual identifies this as an error code. I did unplug (power off) the unit and the problem was not corrected. I also sequenced through pushing the High Temp. Scrub and Heated Dry buttons several times as was identified online as a reset, but this did not work either. Is there another way to reset this model?

Afraid it will burn my grandchildren it is so hot. Is that normal? I never noticed it until today after a couple loads. Could hardly stand in front of it.

My Frigidaire Professional FPHD2491KF buttons don’t work. Well only two light up when I press them. The start button does not work so I can’t run the machine. Would that be a console assembly problem or a pc board problem? How would I find out which one needs to be replaced as I have searched many forums and websites indicating that it can be either the PC board or the Consol assembly (panel where you press buttons) Thanks!

A different company diagnosed this customer’s dishwasher as needing a drain pump after only listening. But the customer explained that it was sometimes draining, just slowly and making an odd noise. We went out and cleared the drain pump of debris (a button!) and all is working fine. Please be sure to take a few minutes and properly diagnose to avoid the hassle of ordering parts for a problem that has an easy fix!

This customer had been frustrated with her dishes not getting clean and was already pre rinsing, changing soaps, running on high heat, and trying everything she knew how. After arriving it did not take long to find that the spray arms were simply blocked up. After clearing them and running a quick wash to check their use, she was thrilled to have such an easy fix. Always check the basics, one is often the culprit.
