Viking Range she wants to convert from NG to LP. Parts are no longer available and no longer even listed. The model number is VGR36-4GDVB. I have not seen the range yet. Is this even worth trying to convert and does anyone have the orifices in old stock for this range? The advise I was given by the Viking distributor was I would have to drill my own which I have not done or know how to do. Thank you

since joining this site I’ve given at least 5 model #s and every time it comes up as” no results found.” just now I typed in # kgsa906pssoo which is a kitchenaid gas stove, I don’t understand why I get no results?

we can’t figure out what the issue is, I think it’s some type of control issue based on what I’ve found online but not sure.

Some of the buttons on the touch pad work, and others don’t. Is this a faulty front touch pad or the control board behind it? Was thinking about giving it a go myself if possible.

Is this something I could do myself? Wasn’t sure how to access it.

Error code appeared after a power outage. I was not aware of what they were, so I just unplugged unit and plugged it back in. Later, I realized oven would not light. I did NOT write down the error code. I need to see it again to begin to diagnose problem. Is there someway to make it reappear? It does not show up when I try to start oven.

the display on our stove keep doing this and I don’t live near any repair services that are reputable. What is the problem? I want to fix it myself.

Is this it’s own element or do I need to replace both on that side? We use it occasionally and I’d like it working again. Thanks for any help.

I’ve been just using my lower but am now thinking I’ll need both in the coming weeks. If somebody could point me in the right direction and give me some information that’d be great.

Neither element works. I tried broil, bake, etc.

Lite functions inside the oven.

No other sign of power.. Nothing happening.

After about 20 minutes my oven beeps as if preheated, but according to my thermostat inside it is about 50 degrees too low. Not sure what that means as far as needing fixed or if we have to replace a part? Am hoping it’s nothing major seeing as I still have to host my family holiday party! Help!

Tried to use my self clean and it just flashes “door” and doesn’t work. Wasn’t sure what this means. I closed it and locked it but it does seem a little bit looser than normal. Maybe it’s not latching completely?

Thermador Professional range with a bad thermostat.
The part # is 00486945
Some of the part #’s that may work are 14-19-866, 14-39-038 or 412888.
Is there a company that rebuilds old thermostats?
What a shame to retire an otherwise perfect range for lack of a part.

Just wanted to post a reminder to check some of the ignitor positioning on these ovens, I didn’t find any issues with this unit, but the ignitor was not located close enough to the bake tube so it wasn’t always coming on. Sometimes in delivery, moving, or reinstalling appliances after a remodel it’s just a matter of checking the components are in their correct place for proper operation.

The oven wasn’t heating up and the stove wasn’t working either. Indicator light wouldn’t go off even when cool and not in use. Was able to reset the board and it seemed to work fine. Should I stress to replace it or let it go as is for now since it’s working again?

I found the control bad and replaced it, only to realize there must be a secondary issue. I thought the board just shorted causing the burning smell but am now thinking there’s something else going on.

Wanted to post a quick reminder out there to check out all valves/fittings/connections on gas appliances. Had another one today that just needed tightened down at the compression fitting at the safety valve, and that was all it took. Whenever you work on gas, take a few extra minutes to check please! Easier to do when you’re in there already.

Range in question heats oven intermittently then stops heating. Model sf362lsxqo. I replaced the burner and spark ignitor, spark module, temp probe, and lastly the clock/control board. I bought a rebuilt control board from and when received it was in a corcentric box. I have closely checked the wiring. With each part replaced the symptoms tree main the same. I believe the customer will now be replacing the oven. Has anyone had similar problems with whirlpool spark ignition? I’m wondering if I got a bad board. Any advice would be welcome. Thank you.

I have a Frigidaire oven M#PLCF489ACB – no bake. The bake element test good for continuity. When put in bake mode, the broil comes on , but the bake element does not come on at all.
I feel that this will be the EOC, because if it was a thermal fuse/cutoff, then the broil would not be working. Cannot find wire diagram with the unit.

The temperature seems to have no control, is consistently off and moving instead of maintaining what’s set. Replaced ignitor and still having some intermittent issues.

Samsung Range the oven wasn’t reaching temp. Upon arrival at the home the clock was dead. It will turn on when any burner is turned on. The burners won’t come on and the oven won’t come on. We can’t find any paperwork with the range.
Any and all advice would be appreciated, a Service manual would be a great help.
Thanks in advance.

I’m attaching the Fault Code Guide for Frigidaire Appliances, the E014 error code lost connection between the User Input Board and the main board. I bet the cracked cook top probably has something to do with it. Frigidaire Range says EO-14 Code is present . He has a bad cooktop as well frame cracked.
