I’ve got this thing apart and have been checking parts to find the problem. It was tripping the breaker consistently and now I’m not sure what’s causing it. Checked the board, seemed fine. Checked the igniter, also good. Getting proper power to and from unit and the wall, so can anyone help me out?

Looking for a video that help me to replace the Ignitor switches.
Key point. Do I need to take off the gas valves of every single ignitor switch?
General Videos of different Models they don’t show that gas valves need to be taken off.
Video has be for that specific Model CGS1740ADH S/N: 15221545WU.
Thanks for your help.

I changed the infinite switch and it did the same thing.
If I begin on low it will heat and cut off but will not come back on even after 10 minutes. If I turn it off and then back on it repeats the same cycle. It will stay on high. If I set it on 3 or 4 it does the same.
Can this be the sensor in the burner?
How does it work?
It doesn’t matter if I use the single or dual settings.

Have a unit with no display when powered up. Display will come on when microwave door is opened and clock can then be set. Lower Oven can then be programmed and will start to heat as long as microwave door is opened. Lights also get very bright while oven is heating (oven and microwave lights both come on when either door is opened). If microwave door is closed relays can be heard clicking then display and oven both turn off. If microwave door is opened then clock display comes back up; although if you wait awhile before opening the door it just reverts to power failure mode. Relay board was already replaced to no effect.

Oven. Would not bake. Replaced e.o.c. Now the oven will come on but the bake element only gets 110 to it so it will only get warm. If you put it into broil the broil element works. When I put it into bake no voltage come out of relay with the yellow wire coming out of it that goes down to the bake element. Checked wires from control to bake element they check out ok. Any help would sure be appreciated. Thanks

Baking oven fan blades hit the back of the oven. Removed the oven from the cabinets and tightened the bracket holding the fan. Seemed to work for about 2 weeks, now rattling again. I noticed when I tightened the assembly that the motor pivoted up and down and wondered at the time if this was normal. The screws holding the motor to the bracket are not loose so I am perplexed. Any ideas. thanks

I have a double oven maytag and my bottom oven will not heat up when I turn it on to preheat it stays at 100 degrees. I replaced the bake element so why won’t my oven heat up?

I’ve just tried to use my broiler for the first time, even though I’ve had this oven for awhile already, and it doesn’t work correctly. It seemed to preheat, but then when I put my fish in, and set the timer, it seems to have shut off on it’s own. I started it over, did the same thing. Is cooling down and not staying on even though it says it is.

I DID NOT LOOK AT THIS STOVE, BUT I AM TOLD THAT IT WILL NOT SELF CLEAN. WHEN THE OVEN IS TURNED ON THE COIL WILL GLOW, BUT IT MAKES A CLICKING NOISE. ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS, TODD FROM NY.

This unit has a infinite switch, I don’t know if it has a thermostat to regulate the temperature or is it all done by the infinite switch. What regulates the temperature?

GE Range, I replace the small oven light switch yesterday for a physical fail. put back together and the light stayed on.
With power off I got path to ground on both wires at switch with bulb removed and socket hanging in oven.
There is a terminal block on left side behind control panel that has a red wire, blue wire and another wire on it. With the red wire removed from that block the path to ground goes away. I found this by mistake trying to follow the red wire from the switch(goes to button control block).Any ideas here? I don’t want to pull the range to trace these wires back to the light socket.
PS. Lightning got the house(after I diagnosed the bad switch).
Help?
Thanks,
