Refrigerator display is blank. Indoor lights are out. Only lights below dispenser flicking

Americana Refrigerator A4425GDTAWW. Not cooling, freezer wall all froze up. This does not have a defrost timer, but a board. My question is, how do I manually put into the defrost cycle? I see on one plug on the board, it has three leads, one is line, one is defrost, and the other is compressor. How do I go about manually checking things out? Can I check the heater and thermostat in freezer from the board?

I replaced the compressor and ran fine for one day. All lights and interior fans work.after trying multiple times to display error codes, I have determined that there are none. After plugging in, indicator light on main b/d board lights for one second, then stays off. How do I troubleshoot this?

I’m wondering how the refrigerator compartment defrosts. The freezer has a heating element on the evaporator but I don’t see one on the fridge evaporator. The fridge evaporator is totally blocked with ice.

Refrigerator working but all displays go blank at times. Than ice and water dispenser stops working. It only starts up after being unplugged. At these times the cooling still works. Replaced the main board. Problem persists

I know the ice maker is bad on this unit, the question I have is, I know these units used to be bad about icing up at the back of the air chute from freezer, causing condensation the freezing over. Do you know what the kit part number is for the updated foam seals and the rest of the kit?

whirlpool fridge cools only when fast cool button press…..and then stops again….customer has to press this fast cool button often to make it cool…….what could be the possible culprit…..

having an error code CE and SY -Power failure alarm keeps beeping. It beeps and in few min. go quite again. -Front and Side Panel – indicator light is out

Initially costumer had a clogged drain and over frosted rear panel so i figured its due to a clogged drain like Samsungs get frosty in the fresh food when drain is clogged, Cleaned drain and made sure everything was good but over frosting came back. THE SHEET OF ICE ON FREEZER FLOOR HAS NOT RETURNED so clearly not clogged drain but frost is back??!

(This brand was not on the selectable list but im sure you guys have serviced these or the Meile brand which appears to be identical internally, And am i paying for the monthly membership plus for every questions?..)

I had to disconnect the door switch to stop it from dispensing ice and clogging the ice shoot and filling the freezer. Is this the main board or do I need to change both it and the interface board or something else? Is there any videos or repair help answers. I couldn’t find anything. I’ve been trying to use the other resources and the premium videows and manual but couldn’t find any thing. If there is a way to navigate the site to find such things could you show me?

GD5RVAXVY01 Dispenser chute is freezing up. I’ve looked at the door and it is closing, just not sure how thick the form should be? Not seeing anything wrong by just looking. Looking for suggestions.

I have a frigidaire refrigerator that I’m working, at first it was completely dead. Since I’ve been working on it I have changed out the mother board, the temperature control board, the thermostat, and start device and capacitor. Now I have power going through the unit. The compressor turns on the condenser fan runs and I see a reading on the temperature display. The down fall is after 10 seconds the lights in the fridge start flashing and around 40-50 seconds the compressor shuts off. What could be the cause of this? The only 3 things I haven’t replaced is the thermistor compressor and evap fan.

1. Refrigerator is not cooling. It looked like compressor was not getting power.
2. So, I replaced main controller board (EBR673480) and inverter (ABQ73004302).
3. Now every component is working, still no cooling
   • Compressor is drawing 0.3Amp current
   • Condenser fan is working
     • Evaporator fan is working, I can feel the air coming out in the freezer (No air flow in upper part)

What may be the problem?

EVAPORATOR FAN MOTOR IS NOT RUNNING CONSISTENTLY. FREEZER IS STILL COLD.

THIS BOSCH REFRIGERATOR IS ONLY INTERMITTENTLY MAKING ICE. CHECKED THE FREEZER TEMPS AND THE FREEZER TEMPS ARE NORMAL AND IN RANGE. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE ON THESE UNITS THAT CAN PREVENT IT FROM MAKING ICE BESIDES THE ICE MAKER OR THE WATER VALVE?

how to put in defrost mode in fresh food ice room? ice room evaporator keeps icing up

This is a side by side with the ice maker in the freezer door. I can press the reset and it will go through a cycle and fill( but only 4 of the chambers) and will not dispence it. I turned on the quick freeze and it didn’t help after 24 hours still no ice. The refrigerator and freezer temperatures are good. I need a service manual with ice maker information .

Have you ran into this problem before and what does it sound like is the issue? This is a unit that you have to purchase the icemaker and auger assembly.

I have a Samsung fridge (PN RFG297AABP) that appears to be fine in every way except the compressor isn’t turning on. I was thinking of buying the DA41-00614F Inverter but wanted to contact you first to get your thoughts on what the issue could be. I replaced the compressor relay with no luck. The fridge does not detect any errors.

The ambient temperature is 98. The refrigerator temperature is 53 and the freezer temperature is 40. When I arrived the unit was off. When I ran the diagnostic tests every thing would worked. The ambient temperature sensor showed 98. The freezer sensor showed 44 and the freshfood sensor showed 55. Is this the main board or something else? I also need the correct technical sheet and any video’s.

I entered diagnostics and press the bottom right button to enter the error codes, and I have these three: ‘01 05’, ‘00 6o’, and ‘38 3d’ – but nowhere did I find expiations on your Tech Sheet

There is no defrost heater in this evaporator. Ran the diagnostics and found no error codes.

-The freezer temp seems to be about on point but the fresh food is displaying 24 and when i put my thermal gun in their it was pretty low around 15 on the walls
-I tested the upper damper and it seems to be opening and closing fine (I did not crack the fridge open to see it but put my hand over it to feel and heard it open and close from diagnostic manuals forced damper test mode)
-Checked on the lower damper near the express meat thaw drawer its closed and fan is not turned on
-Tested all the sensors with the old main board installed and the new board i had on me all sensors read “P” which means PASSED test.
-Ran every single test mode everything seemed to check out fine
-Did the forced electronic reset in the test modes, And unplugged for 5 minutes, Nothing changed.

….Running out of ideas. Its either the upper damper not fully closing, lower damper or something else maybe display panel? unlikely its the display but IDK..??
Please give me an input you guys have more experience im sure i already have all the diagnostic manuals..

The back of the fresh food section is covered in frost and the evaporator coils are ice up. From inspecting the unit and looking at the parts diagram it does not appear that there is a defrost heater in this model for the fresh food evaporator coils. The ice has built up to the point that the unit is not cooling properly and airflow to the icemaker is restricted so it is not making ice.

The unit is shutting down and turning back on and then it displays a PO error code. It appears to either be the power control board or the main control board. Can you please give some insight on this.

The freezer section is frozen solid. I am letting it thaw over the weekend because I can’t get it apart. I’m looking at some drawing, and all I see is the evaporator with all the part included. Can I not get these parts separately, or do I have to change the entire evaporator?

This Ice Maker is in the freezer door itself. How do I remove it?

This unit is not defrosting, causing the evaporator to ice over. I have ohmed the defrost bimetal and the defrost heater and they are both within spec. I’m not sure how to force this unit into defrost or which board controls the defrost.

Not defrosting, checked bimetal and heater and they are good. Unit has a board at the back and board at the control. Which board should I replace for defrost?
