is half of the dual broil element suppose to come on in bake mode?

A customer’s dishwasher heater is coming on early, and the unit is not filling up with water. While this could be an issue with the water valve, the heater is coming on at the incorrect time.

Have you ever come across an issue like this before? Bad board?

Hearing a loud banging or popping noise emanating from the refrigerator. The sound is intermittent , maybe only happening once a day, but sometimes happens more often. What would be causing this to happen and can it be fixed?

There’s an intermittent fan type noise that seems to be coming from the fridge section. The noise stops when the door is opened making it hard to hear correctly. I entered Forced Operations, FF step, to make sure all the fans are running. I opened the left fridge section door, defeated the door switch using a magnet, and listened to the fans. Sounds like it’s coming from behind the evaporator cover.

Coming across multiple bottom mount and french door refrigerators that are getting water leaking down under the crispers from a frozen drain. Is there a known fix for this?

I read online that this could possibly be caused by the air dome sending an incorrect water level reading to the timer. Is that true?

Seems like the main oven door is not contacting with the latch/light switch.

After replacing the ice maker and pushing the test button it rotated and filled good. 24 hours later there is no ice. it seems after replacing the ice maker someone pushed the ice off button. I tested the ice maker again and it cycled, dumped ice and filled again. How long should it take to harvest ice? Would there be anything else that would cause the ice not to be made besides the water valve, high temp, ice button set to off or faulty ice maker?

Just a side note, I did see some frost on the ice maker and on the top shelf but not on the back wall. I checked the door gasket and it seems to be in good shape and holding a good seal. I figured this was from someone not closing the door properly. Any ideas you may have would be greatly appreciated.

We are having an issue with a Kenmore SXS refrigerator MN: 253.54629406 that keeps defrosting up. At first when we came out there we found it frosted up. The heaters and bi metal were working so we replaced the ADC board and forced into to defrost and heaters came on. Customer called back one week later and said same problem. We went back out there and thought the board we replaced the new ADC board, because we could not force it into defrost plus cold control, wiring assembly and dampener control and bi metal.Customer called back and is saying refrigerator works fine for a week then freezers up(same issue) Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I cannot remove rack in freezer so I can access and remove panels to check drain tube. I have water under the veggie drawers on bottom of frig. The video says this is caused by a
blocked drain in the freezer and I should pour hot water to release it. Maybe this model does not allow it to be checked so how do I stop the water from accumulating under the drawer. Is there another method for this model- 253.61874400? Is there a phone number so I can talk to a serviceman and if necessary have a home visit? I would like to know how much this would cost in addition to this $25 for my one question. I would prefer a simple answer without advanced service at my home. We like Kenmore but this is not customer friendly. We called the parts and was only referred to this site. Please respond immediately since our freezer is defrosting. Sincerely, Norm Peterson

GOOD MORNING. I CHANGED THE COILS, AND THE BURNER WILL NOT LITE. WHEN THE START BUTTON IS PUSHED THERE IS SOME WHAT OF A CLICK AND THEN A VERY LOUD WHINNING-BUZZING SOUND, THEN THE ELEMENT GLOWS, THEN AFTER ABOUT 10 SECONDS A SECOND CLICK, THEN IT SHUTS DOWN. IT WILL REPEAT THIS CYCLE OVER AND OVER. I HAVE CONTINUITY AT THE FLAME SENSOR AND THE IGNITER OHMED OUT AT .5, I BELIEVE, BUT NO CONTINUITY BUZZ. I THEN TOUCHED THE IGNITER SOME WHAT LIGHTLY AND IT BROKE IN TWO VERY EASILY. I HAVE A LOCAL PARTS PLACE THAT WILL TEST THE VALVE IF I TAKE IT TO HIM. I HAVE HEARD OF GAS STOVES NOT IGNITING BECAUSE THE IGNITER IS STARTING TO FAIL AND DOES NOT REACH PROPER TEMP FOR THE GAS TO FLOW, MIGHT THIS BE SIMILAR? THANKS, TODD FROM NY.

Styrofoam insulation for evaporator has become saturated with water from a backed up drain.
Anyone have one I can purchase this part ? DA62-01766A.

When I arrived the water valve put in a little water and then the drain pump came and continuously ran and when I went into service mode the error codes E30 and E54 were in the history. I went through the test options and made it T06 which is the pressure switch test and it went into error. I put a pressure switch on the washer and problem still occurring with the same symptoms. Thanks in advance for any help

Need information on servicing this type of icemaker!

Kenmore brand. This fridge will cut off at times, if you bump the cold control slightly it will turn on.

compressor is running ,evap fan is working,defrost bi metal is good,defrost sensor good,refrigerator holding the temp,very little
frost on the freezer evap,any suggestion befor I order the board. Thanks.

Hi Folks,

This is a fairly new unit that was in storage for a few months. There is water to the water valve. Water will not go into the unit and there is no power to the water valve. The fill led is blinking green. The unit does lock! No tech sheet to be found in the usual place. Any ideas for the location of the tech sheet or the diagnoses as the what is wrong with this unit?.

I have two error codes SD & F71 code. Talks about tub not seating properly. I feel like this is the case(thought it was a bit rough when I lifted and dropped).
However, in service mode it did the medium and high speed spin. When I set it for a drain/spin cycle(14min.) it went to 12 stayed there for over 5min and then went into SD code.
Am I missing something?

How do access the evap fan motor on a bottom freezer French door refrig. Never had one apart

I am working on a Kenmore HE3. I have replaced the coils and the ( cycling thermostat ). And the burner continues to run for about 10-12 seconds then shuts off. After a few minutes, the igniter comes on, the gas valve opens up and the burner starts and run for 10 seconds or so, then shuts off, and the cycle continues.
I think it’s the gas valve, but before my customer spends that kind of money. I want a second opinion. What do you think, and why?
