My icemaker is working, but it seems that some water is getting into it and causing all of the ice to freeze together.

Hello, I pulled the cover off my igniter on my gas dryer, and the flame will ignite for about 5-10 minutes and then goes out.

My evaporator fan motor doesn’t work when installed into the freezer, but when hooked directly to 12 Volts it functions properly.

The fan in my refrigerator has been making a loud noise, and I’ve noticed some ice build-up near the fan housing. Is this a sign of a faulty heating unit? Can I just clear the ice to solve the problem?

If my evaporator in my refrigerator is covered in ice and the defrost thermostat is closed, would it be alright to plug the unit back in and allow it to defrost on it’s own?

My ice maker stops making ice occasionally. Sometimes I can defrost it with a hair dryer, but the problem always comes back. What is the permanent fix for this?

My dryer will only run for about 30 seconds, and will not run at all if there’s more than one article of clothing in there.

I have a bottom drawer freezer. Compressor is running, but the freezer fan is not blowing. Evaporator coils frost normally. The fan spins manually. The voltage and resistance on the fan check out normal. Freezer and icemaker are also working normally. Could my problem be a faulty fan motor?

I replaced the clutch and coupler on this washer, and now I’m getting a grinding noise before the spin cycle starts.

I have a samsung sxs refrig that builds ice around the evaporator fan motor every few months inside the refrigerator compartment. If it is melted it works fine. It is defrosting obviously but I dont know what the permanent fix is. I see you have a video showing the replacement of the defrost heater assembly but is anything different on this than what I already have? Model is RS263TDWP Serial is JJ9Z4GBZ500034N. Thanks for any help

I have a whirlpool duet gas dryer that I anticipate is roughly 5 or 6 years old. Yesterday my wife went to do a load of laundry and the user interface (part number 8559431) was showing strange numbers for the time settings and the start button wasn’t working. I unplugged the unit, checked for lint build up, and eventually pulled the control board, cleaned the lint from it, reinstalled it, and the unit fired up and we were back to normal.
Fast forward to this afternoon when the interface went completely blank. Went through the motions again and this time went as far as to pull the interface and clean it up as well. Still cant get it to run but the interface is back to showing the strange numbers like yesterday and now will not shut off.
My gut tells me I have either an issue with the interface or the control board and I have a feeling it may be a interface issue. I should also note that i had minor condensation on the dryer interior which struck me as odd. This is south Louisiana and it has been hot and humid here in August with alot of rain fall.
Any idea what could be causing this issue? Any diagnostic test I can run on a control panel?
Thanks in advance.

I watched your video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIdtNdDXFDk) and have this identical issue. I want to get the replacement tube shown in the video, so I called your parts department. After explaining my dilemma, I thought I got the right part, but after placing the order and looking at the part number provided – IT IS THE SAME AS WHAT I HAVE. Please advise as to how to order the replacement tube shown in your video.

Had this dryer for 14 months. Im surprise that it stopped working so quick. I checked the vent
outside the house and its working fine. The dryer is also stacked on top of the washer which
might make it a little challenging for repairs. Any steps I can take before calling in an electrician.
Thanks

I’m pretty sure I need to replace the convection fan. I have identified the replacement part online. But I can’t figure out how to get to the back of the oven to get to the convection fan. Do I get there from the inside? Or do I need to take the whole over out of the wall to get at it from the outside? Any videos to help? Thanks.

Hi –
My kitchenaid dishwasher (3 years old) is leaking water under the right bottom side of the door. It is not a lot of water, and my first attempt to fix it was cleaning the seal, which had some small amount of scum on it. This fixed it temporarily, but a few days later the water leak was back. It is not a lot of water, and doesn’t happen during the rinse only cycle, apparently. Any ideas/thoughts on this would be very useful. It is a stainless steel kitchenaid dishwasher, similar to model KDTE104DSS.
Thanks!
