I have had several sub zeros in the past couple months with this issue and I don’t know how to address it.
The ice maker does not make ice even when you select max ice on the display. There is a valve by the filter and then one more before the ice machine with a weird sensor on it. I first forced the original icemaker through a cycle by twisting the gear it looks like a Frigidaire icemaker and it went through the test cycle including filling with water at the end. But the customers all said that it only made that one batch of ice that I forced it to fill for.
All those customer said they replaced water filter before and still no ice. Reset the fridge. No ice. Checked for frozen fill tube. Made sure the water pressure is good. Made sure the switches by the ice machine work. It seems like only thing left is the main board that controls the power to ice maker and Even that makes me feel weird because why does the icemaker work when I set to max ice and forced the gear?

Hello I have been working on this maytag refrigerator for about a month now. I have replaced the ice maker with the updated version with the new wire harness. The ice maker works for a few days and then jams. I have replaced it twice now. I noticed that the fill arm on the icemaker was rubbing on the rear fan housing. I have shaved that down and it worked for a few days then jammed again. If you push down on the arm it will dump the ice. It will not dump on its own. There are no issues with the temperatures in the refrigerator or freezer.
I am at a loss of what to do next. I hope we can solve this together.

Hello Fellows.
Yesterday as I was loading my refrigerator it turned itself “OFF”.
The lights inside just shut down and only 2 things happening:
1) slight clicking on top by the area around display and controls
2) blue lights bling on “DELI” and CHILLED” on bottom-right side.
No display messages, nothing.

i have a frigidaire not cooling on the food side, air vent blowing on top where the electronic control board assembly that connected with water filter the vent is clear no ice block, at bottom of refrigerator vent clear no ice block. on the freezer side, i open it and see evaporator coil ice build up. iIdefrost ice and check the bimetal thermostat, heating element and evaporator fan all working and has continuity about 2 hours later frost and ice begin to build up again, i suspect is the electronic control board, can you please help with proper diagnose method to pinpoint the defected parts.
