I AM TRYING TO ORDER THE HEATING ELEMENT AND THE DIAGRAM SHOWS I HAVE TO BUY THE ENTIRE HOUSING. THE CUSTOMER WAS SHOCKED AT THE PRICE, SO I CALLED A LOCAL SUPPLY HOUSE AND THEY SAID THAT THEY CAN GET THE RESTRING COIL THAT IS MADE BY FRIDGADARE. DOES THIS SOUND CORRECT AND HOW DO YOU MATCH THE ELEMENT? THANKS, TODD FROM NY.

Customer states this unit is down to 17 degrees below zero and stuff is frozen rock hard. This is a freezer only unit. States it does not change temperature when adjusted warmer. Just stays at -17 degrees. Serial number is . I don’t normally work on Subzero. Any suggestions on what I should be checking will be welcome. Thank you

In the fresh food section is Working, What else should I Try?

I need some advice from our subzero experts.
Complaint: Not Making Ice.
We found the unit with the icemaker arm bent around from the bucket being pushed back on the arm.
We replaced the icemaker and as the water level was low and it is in a rental home we removed the filter and installed a factory by pass plug.
I started the unit in Max Ice. The icemaker cycled around twice and filled to the correct water level. We thought all was good and stopped to double check it the next day, No Ice.
I checked everything over again, drawer switch etc. ok.
After posting on psanet we replaced the complete water valve w/flow sensor. I opened the valve sensor and found it had droppings in it. We thought we were ok.
I started the icemaker again on Max ice and stopped to check it again 2 days later. Still No Ice.
The wiring seems good . Power to the flow sensor comes from the Low Voltage Board and Power to the icemaker comes from the high voltage board.
Factory tech line doesn’t think it is a board.
Any advice would really be appreciated.

My inquiry found a company called “Applianceboards.com” which may be located in either Georgetown or Austin TX. Is this a legit company and/or has any one had any experience with them? They did email us a phone their contact number after hours, but cannot find anything at BBB. We just had the board for this oven rebuilt and now the cancel pad is not working, programs bake only.

This refrigerator is a Kenmore made by LG. French door variety. The refrigerator is warm and the compressor is not running. There is some discoloring on the control board. Can someone put in the correct direction to diagnose this unit?

I have a technician working on a Samsung refrigerator. Problem is that the ice maker is not working per the customer. Technician has been out and found ice forming in the ice maker fan and duct to the ice maker. Any idea what would be causing this problem?

The ice maker in my kitchen aid refrigerator is not working at all.

My Whirlpool washer starting or agitating.

My GE oven is unresponsive.

My Whirlpool washer is not spinning out and the control is unresponsive.

My Whirlpool dishwasher is not draining and the cycles seem to be taking too long.

My Maytag dryer will not heat .

There are small plastic pieces broken off in my dispenser and ice bucket of my Whirlpool refrigerator.

My Whirlpool refrigerator will not maintain temperature, it is set on #2 and the thermostat goes up to # 9 .

My Whirlpool washer quits mid cycle and if I open and close the lids a few times it starts working again.

My Whirlpool washer is displaying a UL code and is making an odd noise.

The ice shoot is not closing properly on my Hotpoint refrigerator.

My Amana dryer will not heat.

My GE dryer is not heating and is making a squeaking noise.

My lg washer will not spin or drain water out.

My GE oven is displaying an F7 error and is powering off by itself.

My LG washer is leaking a little bit of water.

Ice bucket in the door is freezing into a block and won’t dispense ice the door appears to tightly closed and cubes appear to be good quality any ideas on what could be going on with this problem. Thanks in advance

I REMOVED THE FLAME SPREADER AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OVEN AND WATCHED THE IGNITOR. THE IGNITER GLOWED AND THE BURNER LIT. ABOUT 30 SECONDS PAST AND THE BURNER WENT OUT, THEN LIT AGAIN. THE SMELL OF GAS WAS NOTICABLE WHEN THE BURNER WENT OFF AND LIT AGAIN. I CHECKED FOR GAS LEAKS IN THE PIPING AND FOUND NOTHING. MY BEST GUESS IS THAT THE IGNITOR IS GOING BAD? I REMOVED IT AND NOTICED A FRAY IN ONE OF THE WIRES, EXPOSING SOME METAL. WHAT SHOULD THE IGNITOR OHM READING BE? IS MY THINKING CORRECT? ANY INFO WOULD HELP, THANKS, TODD FROM NY.

I have a tech working on a Sub Zero refrigerator that the drain line keeps clogging. He called Sub Zero tech line and they recommended a part # 4202530. Another company said it needed a heating element, but the photo shows no heater. Can anyone that has installed this item explain to my tech how to install it?

Hi Folks,

This is a GE HydroWave unit. Once the start switch is pressed, no matter what setting, the pump comes on and stays on. The lights on the motor indicate normal conditions. In field service mode the unit fills, agitates and spins but once out of the field service mode you press the start switch and the pump comes on and stays on! What do you all think? All responses greatly appreciated.

I have a Kenmore refrigerator model number 797.77563600 on a plane video it comes up with no match I am having an error code on this refrigerator ER FF

I am a one man operation and am looking to start braizing and doing sealed system work. Is their an electric brazing machine? What is the model number
I do very little sealed system work, but plan to ramp it up this year. Thanks in advance for any help
