The cooktop light on my stove would not go out when all of the burners were turned off. I found your video on fixing the switches when this happens. I was able to remove the faulty switch pretty easily thanks to your video. I am now waiting for the new switch to arrive. In the process, I have left the back panel off of the stove. I noticed last night that when I turn the switches for the burners that are still connected that they will sometimes spark. Is this normal? My fear is a fire hazard. Am I witnessing all of the switches going bad all at once? Or is this normal or possibly just dust getting burned off and once the back panel goes back on will resolve itself.

The switches do not arc or spark when not in use and it only happens when the initial turn happens. So again, is this an issue?

How can I troubleshoot this unit from the control board? Anyone have a tech sheet? I am getting a F-4 error code but the water seems hot! I did order a heater but like I said the water is hot! How else can I go about diagnosing this unit?

This unit is showing the following code: Under the cycle mode there are 3 lights blinking, the first two and the fourth i.e. Smart Auto – Normal – Skip –Delicate! Also, while the door is open the pump is on and pumping out. According to the troubling shooting guide this all relates to high temperature water entering the unit. Although it says nothing about the unit working with the door open. Can someone please point me in the correct direction?

Wall mount GE dryer:When press start bottom starts but doesn’t continue running.is it the motore?

I ran a call today with a complaint of the fridge not cooling. Upon arrival the freezer was frosted up, so not a defrost issue. The evaporator was not frosted up. Lights on temp display are not working. Condenser fan motor would run then stop. I ended up checking everything and couldn’t find an issue. Advised the customer to leave unit unplugged with doors open and a fan in front of it for 24 hrs, then plug unit in and let cool for 24 hrs and monitor. Thinking door to freezer just got left open overnight?

Looking for some confirmation or other suggestions if someone has anything.

In getting it apart, looks as though I need a a diverter valve, does someone have time to get me the number? My lookup isn’t working very well and I’m in front of the torn down unit right now. Need to get this estimate written up.

I’m looking for the control that this error calls for, do you guys carry it? Going to start there and then possibly do the humidity sensor as well. Thanks.

Have E 22 fault code which I know is the fresh food fan. Problem is code will not reset and nothing else will start up on the unit. Can here the control board click but compressor never cuts on. Any ideas?

This ge fridge is showing temps different than what’s set. The big thing is the temps shown vary greatly with the set temps. With thermometers placed in the fridge and freezer they show good temperatures inline with the set temps. The fridge has never got over temp.

HAVE A WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR .
The water tank is in the fresh food ceiling under cover.
It is made of 2 separate tanks, I large, I small..
Fitting connecting the tanks cracked and I ordered new tanks ( PN W10277923 ).
This partnumber shows both tanks but I have ordered twice and have had the large tank only in box.
Anyone know of a different number for both or a seperate number for smaller tank..

Hotpoint Dishwasher . Unit does not pump out all water at end of cycle. Unit pumps out all water in previous pump out, but not the last one. Solenoid for pumping water out engages, but the motor does not run, no power to motor. Since the drain solenoid activates and the motor doesn’t run at the end of the cycle, I suspect the timer is bad. Has anyone else seen this problem?

This is an upright freezer only. I recently replaced the non-working evaporator fan motor with a new OEM motor. I placed a data logger in the freezer for 3 days. Temperatures in the top are averaging 30 degrees and the bottom shelf zero. Complaint is food is soft on the top shelf. The frost pattern on evaporator was good. The freezer is loaded up pretty full but it appears to me that there is adequate space for air to flow. One thing I noticed was when I would pull the evaporator wall forward the evaporator motor fan motor sounded like it would speed up. I’m not sure is this is just because I could then hear the fan better or if it was actually speeding up due to less restricted air flow. There was door seal problem as well but this was corrected before I placed the data logger in place and the seal is good. The cold control is set on #5 which is colder than the customer normally had to set it. I was wondering if I need to replace the cold control or if the evap motor is possibly spinning to slow. Ice maker is not working I have a reverse osmosis water filter , could this cause my issue ?

The Maytag 2000 washer is tearing clothes when a full load is being washed. I observed a towel getting stuck between the tub and the white plastic (bellows?) Is this the right part to replace and can you give suggestions on how to replace this part. The white plastic band that circles the tub inside is well worn and looks ruff. I believe this is the bad part. Does the washer come apart from the front or the top. There is a dryer stacked on top of the dryer.

The board smells burnt and the casing had burnt dust in it but I could not find any evidence on the board or anyplace else that the board was fried.

Freezer evaporator coils have no frost on them, however the fresh food is keeping temperature. I know these units are problematic with sealed systems. Which evaporator is the most common to change and what is the easiest way to tell which one needs changing, because I have seen this same situation before and it be the fresh food evaporator and I have also seen it been the freezer evaporator. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. All fans work.

Frig and freezer run hot compressor runs condenser fan runs don’t know about evaporator fan when door is open can hear it when door is closed can’t hear it. Is there a way to check to see if its running? Doors don’t have switches (push in ) its a magnet at bottom of freezer door.

Kitchen Aid oven.takes long time to heat up,and won’t reach temp set to.

Have never changed a drain pan on this model wrt1l1tzywoo. Does the comp. and condenser coils have to be removed to change out the drain pan. Thank you for all your help.

My Whirlpool washer will not spin out.

My Kenmore washer is showing an F2 error.

My Whirlpool dryer is making a loud noise not heating and has a burning smell.

There is frost build up in the freezer section of my Whirlpool refrigerator. It is just on the very top of the freezer only, its a top freezer model.

My whirlpool dryer is not tumbling.

My Maytag washer is not spinning out properly, what are some possible low cost possibilities that would cause this issue ?
