We’ve been doing a lot of drain kits on whirlpool refrigerators and I got to this call today and cleared the line of ice, it was pretty full. But seems to be working fine now. Will this work indefinitely or will we get called back on it? Wasn’t sure if I should just price out the drain kit and give it to the customer in case it happens again.

Checked the element, probe, thermostat, and then found that the control is bad. Seems like a high cost for the control and if I add in my fees, it far exceeds a reasonable repair price. Should I just advise to buy new?

Assuming I just need to know what the element number is. Going to try and get this done today if I can get it locally.

It’s also leaking which I think is just a tub seal. I can handle that. I think the noise is a transmission but it would the repair would definitely exceed the cost of the unit.

I’m trying to defrost this unit right now and it’s taking some time, so I’m trying to find the information on a new mother board as well as the evaporator thermistor. at least I think that’s what it’s called. The evaporator was so iced over I couldn’t get the cover off, so I may know a bit more once I get inside, but what is the part information on those couple things?

Would this be the bearing? It’s not tumbling and the belt and idler all check out fine.

I have a Samsung refrigerator that needs a water filter housing.
New housing has 4 tubes and 1 goes up top to icemaker and 1 goes up top I guess toe water dispenser.
The question I have is how do you get to the fitting & connector for the water.dispenser.( it’s the larger tube ) that goes up top.
Looked under everything I saw with screws and covers and no luck.

I’m having trouble figuring out why this dishwasher is not draining. I have checked the drain hose It appears to have good flow. It drains but leaves a lot of water in the tub. The drain cycle seems to short but I did not time it. This washer does not have a separate drain pump. It has the solenoid which also appears to be working right. Sump pump is clear and I pulled the motor to check for any a blockage. The DW is only about two years old. I would say low end model.

Icemaker on this refrigerator has quit making ice. Is it possible to manually cycle this icemaker to see if it is activating the water valve? The icemaker looks somewhat like an LG icemaker but there is no test button on it. I know that the valve could be bad. Thanks in advance

Question on this range .The complaint is the temperature doesn’t rise above 180 degrees.
Technician came out he found in both bake and broil cycle part is on
the electric element just below the broiler burner . We are not familiar with this type of range. We will really appreciate any input.

Everything checks out on this as far as components. I did find the drain line frozen and advised them to thaw for up to 48hrs to ensure it melted completely. For some reason I didn’t think this happened on these models very often and kept assuming to find an issue with a part. Should I just have them monitor for proper operation? Would be great to know this was the cause.

This unit keeps coming up with a door lock error and you can’t even get inside the oven to use it. I think the entire door latch assembly needs replaced but I have no way to lookup the parts information currently. Can you help me on this?

This dryer keeps getting complaints of noisy and loud conditions. I’ve checked what I can think of and just got called to go back out on it to take another look (third time). Already have replaced glides, checked idler, pulley, supports, it’s balanced, etc. I’ve got to be missing something here. One of my other guys suggested the blower wheel, would that make a lot of noise?

This is a washer that is continually having issues where it stops before certain cycles. Sometimes before the first drain, sometimes before spin, other time it won’t spin or drain at all. Customer said they can normally open it up, set it to where it needs to be manually and it’ll go again. What parts should I take with me before heading there? I’m hoping I have it already and can save us both an extra trip.

LRFD25850ST LG French door refrigerator
Drain keeps freezing up , cleared in May of last year and problem is back. In parts lookup I see a different drain pipe assembly that looks to be of shorter nature. Old number 5251JA3003D, new 5251JA3003E. Any suggestions other than the usual cleaning and steaming. It has a rubber flap on the end of drain as opposed to the duck bill. Has anyone else have issues with this setup? Thanks in advance

The tub seal on this top load washer is leaking and it has a roar in spin. This model has a transmission and not the mode shifter clutch. Does this machine have a reliable transmission? I’m not sure how old it is but appears to be in fair condition. Thank you for any advise in advance

LED LIGHT INSIDE ARE REAL DIM AND WILL SHUT OFF IN ABOUT 3 OR 4 SECS. THE WATER DISPENSOR BOARD WILL LIGHT UP WITH THE TEMP. BUT WHEN YOU TRY TO DISPENSE ICE/WATER THE WHOLE THING SHUTS DOWN AS SOON AS THE LIGHTS ON THE DISPENSOR COME ON. NO LOOSE WIRES ANYWHERE OR BURNT SPOTS ON EITHER MAIN BOARD OR DISPENSOR BOARD. THIS IS A FRENCH DOOR MODEL.

I would like your recommendations for appliances that will last longer than 6 years like most of the brands that are produced today. My customers ask me this question daily. I suggest Speed Queen washers and dryers for laundry products but I’m not sure about the other types of appliances. I’m currently researching Bosch dishwashers. Thank you for any assistance.

I have a NLA board that needs repaired and would like to get feedback of “Fixyourboard” vs “core centric”. Core centric is slightly cheaper but offers only a 6 month warranty, verses a 2 years for Fixyourboard. Any issues with quality of work?
