In the bottom oven the bake element doesn’t glow, it heats slightly though. The element itself tested good. As it is trying to heat a clicking noise comes from the back. Could this be the thermostat or something in the control panel?

I’m on an LG refrigerator (ice maker not getting any water) finding no power to the primary water valve. Getting about 30 volts to the primary. I have ohmed out the wires from the main control board to the valve and that all checked out good. Tried a new main control board, still the same problem. Secondary valve powers up fine. Any suggestions here?

Both the bake and broil elements in the lower oven do not heat up. Any help will be appreciated. I would also appreciate it if any one could send me a schematic or wiring diagram for the subject oven. Thank you.

Clean light blinks 7 times. I have no idea what this means. A Tech Sheet would be greatly appreciated. There is not one with the DW.
Turning off the power to the DW does not reset the light. Thank you.

washer vibrates badly and walks across the floor. Washer is
level, floor is solid and all suspension springs are good. I noticed
that the tub is rather stiff, by that I mean when I pull or push it one
way or the other it will stay wherever I put it and will stay there even
when spinning. Any suggestion on how to fix the problem will be
appreciated. Thank you.

Ice builds up on the rear of the bottom freezer section. It starts in the rear and eventually overflows to the bottom of the freezer section. I unplugged the unit and removed all the ice. About a week after removing the ice its starting to form again on the rear of the bottom freezer section. The ice maker is working and the temperatures appear to be correct in both sections.

Power on key pad functions, oven light works. I checked oven sensor, both elements resistance within tolerance. I can hear relays cycling continuously ever 5secs, but elements and oven don’t heat.

What can I do to change that? Or is it not possible? Just doesn’t seem to be the same and I’m not sure if it’s a good thing.

I noticed this because I cleaned behind my washer and dryer and there was a small area that looked like water had accumulated there before. Not sure if that’s a problem or not? Cleaned it up and put a small towel there to see if I can catch anymore when it happens. Is something broken or leaking inside?

I just changed both hinges on the oven door but there is still a fill finger gap between the door and oven on the left (when facing the oven) side of the door and you can fee much more heat there than on the right side. Wonder what other issues this could be? I have a new gasket as well. Could the door be warped? Thanks!

Power O.K. to terminal block. No Lights, Nothing Works.
Replaced main control board per troubleshooting guide supplied with dryer, but did not fix problem. Dryer will operate fine once (infrequently) then nothng works after that. Checked through to control panel connections..everything is clean and tight, Dryer would not work after replacing main control board. Put old board back in and it worked for one complete cycle. Then no lights and no start situation again.

Door switch clicks crisply and seems O.K. but haven’t tested due to access.. Light comes on inside drum when door open and off when door closed.. If I need to remove back panel I need help with how to remove “clip” at vent opening….can’t figure how to unclip.

There are two boards inside user panel….nothing burnt, all looks clean and fine except a tiny bit of corrosion on the board side of the wide ribbon cable. (cleaned and WD-40).

If I remember correctly, both times that the user panel lights came on and dryer worked was directly after I had thrown the main fuse (at the main house fuse box) off and then on, but I have been unable to duplicate this scenario.

Please help, and if I have to remove back panel from dryer cabinet, advise how to unclip the clip at the vent opening.

Thanks

Spent our Sunday taking apart our Cabrio per your prior videos, and ran both diagnostic tests and a calibration cycle. Nothing was clogging drain/pump.

  1. Do you have any other suggestions as to why the machine won’t drain properly? It’s almost like clockwork that that clothes never spin out on a regular wash cycle. I usually have to hit drain and spin, once or twice before the clothes are spun out enough for the dryer. The pump seems to be trying to do it’s job, and sometimes it work, it’s just very inconsistent. Sometimes there’s 6″ of water in the bottom at the end of cycle, other times the clothes are just real wet.

    1. When we removed the tub from the unit, we could still hear water rolling around inside the -is that normal?
  2. There are only two springs on the right-hand side of the tub–should there be four springs around it? We found no springs on the floor or inside the washer.

  3. And finally, we found a black powdery substance, which appeared to be from the belt, which looks like it came really close to coming off the wheel–the plastic that covers that belt looks like it had a rut melted into it where the belt rubbed up against it.

Appreciate any assistance you can provide to help us finish the job – your videos are very helpful.
Link to dropbox, to see pictures, is attached.
Thanks,
Terri

I was advised to switch the button control units as the top drawer selector will not move from rinse.
How do I access those controls? Is there a walk through? Diagram?
Do I need a serviceman yet??

The freezer is working fine. Its barely cold in the refrigerator. I see no ice build up anywhere. The fan is running. What can I do? I don’t know where anything is in the frig. My manual isn’t very detailed as to what is where.

We had it stacked at our old place, and it’s been in storage for about a year. We unloaded them here and put them on individual pedestals since we have the room but it seems to not even want to stay on it’s stand. I’m afraid it’ll come right off one of these times on a spin cycle. Any advice for us?

I can’t select cycles or adjust it using any of the buttons, sometimes it lights up, other times it won’t come on at all. Is this something my husband could fix? Appliance shopping is the last thing I want to do right now.

We have watched and repaired/replaced drain tube. However, we still have ice forming on the floor of the freezer and are wondering if we need to defrost the drain line and how to do it.

What should I check? Got the panels off and am not sure what to look for. Pulled up the parts schematic from your site and can get a visual from that I think if needed. Couldn’t find any videos specific to my model. Thanks.

I saw the videos on clearing the chopper and sump area, and I checked the pump as well. I removed some debris thinking I’d solved it, but same thing happened on next load. Not sure where to go from here.

Checked the power, has it. Seems finicky. Sometimes if I open and close the door and replug it back in, it works again, just fine.

Our washer has a very slow but steady drip of water inside the tub, even when not being used. I checked the connections, and everything is tightened. What should I do to stop it?
