Hello,
My husband is trying to diagnose of our refrigerator is dying. He says the fans seem to be running but it’s not cooling. He’s thinking compressor but I wanted to know what else we could check before deciding to get rid of it or attempt to fix it. Thank you ahead of time.

TRIED TO CHECK BAKE ELEMENT. CUSTOMER SAID NOT BAKING GOOD OR GOING INTO SELF CLEANING. HOW TO GET TO IT?

My dishwasher will not start. The lights light up when I choose different functions but it won’t actually start when I press Start. I tried the reset by pushing the High Temp Scrub and Energy Save Dry buttons alternating five times each and the unit will go through the reset. It also drains when I press cancel after resetting. I am not sure how to proceed.

Its is connected to power.no .nothing. need to diagnose

I have an electric dryer that I can’t figure out. It’s not heating and I initially thought it was the element. I got it apart and checked that, but it seems fine. Then I found a video on here suggesting the thermostat, but that is also coming back fine. What a I missing?

I have an odd problem, our duet washer is filling, with hot water only, when completely turned off and not in use. I came down to do laundry and found quite a substantial amount in the tub already. I drained it and did my load, and then checked the next day and same thing. I have a feeling this is also causing our hot water heater to run more than normal since the water is actually warm. Any help is appreciated.

I have a fridge that has water accumulating in the bottom and is beginning to not cool. Is the water just condensation? Is this something I could fix myself? I’d love some help with this.

dryer noise is getting louder, and high pitched, how can I fix this?

I checked coil, freon, fan motor ok, but when compressor come on , only run for 5-7 minutes and shutting off, when temperature still not satisfy, I wait about 25 minutes for the compressor to come on but didn’t come on for the time I was there,, I open my doors so the temperature inside cooler and freezer rise and close my doors back again so maybe the compressor come on but it didn’t,, I know the compressor come on because the cooler is at 34 degrees,, but freezer is not cooling,,there no ice buid up either at coil and my pressure are around 5 psig..text me at 501 472 6531 if u can ,,,,

Hd & Normal button lights are flashing alternating. Turned breaker on last nite , closed door & it pumped out. Then nothing. Does not run. no response from machine.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP on our Frigidaire dishwasher. WE ALREADY FORKED OUT $120 AND REPLACE THE CONTROL BOARD AND THE ERROR CODE IS STILL FLASHING. I GUESS WE NEED TO WORK ON THE TOUCH PANEL OR CONSOLE, HUH? That should do it, right? Is there a video showing how to do this?

My washing machine when the timer goes to spin,it won’t spin,instead the agitator spin clockwise and anti clockwise like in wash mode while draining the water. When I took my clothes out after spin cycle is over,still water on it.What is the problem of my spin cycle?Thank you very much

This washer gets to spin cycle and won’t drain. You can hear hum and burning smell. Most of the time I can rock the machine front to back or visa versa and it will start to drain and spin. The occurrences of this are getting more frequent and it is getting harding to get the machine to start back up by rocking it. Sometimes now have to unplug it for awhile and try. Also it seems easier to get to work if I take clothes out of machine.

Looking for an idea of why this unit is failing again. This will be the fourth repair on this in two years, and KitchenAid has been useless. Main board has been replaced once, rebuilt once, something about the defroster has been replaced, and the freezer is not working. Again.

Can you tell me how to navigate the menus for diagnostics?

Any help appreciated.

My fridge has a leak somewhere, it doesn’t seem to be much, but I noticed a small amount of water on the one side and am unsure where it’s coming from. It’s no where near the dispenser area so I was hoping it may just be the drip pan? I’d like to get this taken care of as soon as possible because I had hardwood floors installed last year and am worried this has been going on for some time and I didn’t notice. Help!

My gas dryer isn’t heating up any longer and everywhere I looked suggested the coils. But when I accessed them and checked them, there weren’t any issues. What should I move on to next? Thermostat?

I’m looking for a little direction on what might be happening to my fridge. There’s a lot of frost building up in the back of the freezer on that panel and it’s starting to not cool. It’s done this before and then started working again. The frost diminished and all seemed fine. Now it’s happening again, and it seems to be worse this time. From the videos I watched it seems like it could be a few things. I checked the heater and board last time and again today, they are good. Any way to help narrow this down for me? I’d really appreciate it.

My washer wasn’t spinning so I took off the cover and found a broken belt down underneath. I couldn’t find a video with the part number or model and need a little help in figuring out how to install the new one.

I have a frigidaire dryer that no longer heats, my clothes are still wet inside after two cycles. I had a hard time finding the correct replacement part online and there wasn’t a video I could find for my model. Hoping someone can help!

Broiler on oven won’t shut off

The outer door panel is broken and prevents the door from closing properly. Since the outside panel was broken, it came off easily. Now I am trying to put it back on. What is the best way to put the door back on? It appears the door needs to be disassembled so it will fit around the door hinge.

This is a he machine and unfortunately I used some regular liquid tide detergent. I’ve since ran several cycles with no detergent, he bleach on self clean mode and cleaned the machine with he cleaner. I’ve also ran the diagnostic test and it won’t go past c7. It drains all the water and then tries to agitate for about 10 minutes and then starts to fill back up with water. It does not go past c7 on the diagnostic test. Can this be fixed?

If the igniter is broken, does the oven still send gas to the burner tube when turned on?  I only ask as it’s not lighting, so I tried to turn it on and light it manually, and apparently there’s no gas coming from the burner tube.  I just want to make sure the igniter is the problem.  Everything else works on the oven – all four top burners and the broiler. which is at the top of the oven.

I have a Maytag refrigerator with a bottom freezer. The upper unit doesn’t cool. I found a video that shows how to replace the jazz-board which I did. This did not fix the problem. I can hear the lower unit (compressor) running and the freezer works fine. Maytag model number MFF2557HEW.

GETTING POWER INTO THE BOARD, LIGHTS WORK & CHECKED FUSE; TESTED GOOD BUT CAN NOT GET DISPLAY TO POWER UP. ORIGINAL ERROR CODE WAS F16.

After this last wash, the “Control Locked” light came on my washer. We have unplugged, to try to reset but to no avail. what is the matter with my washer? Please help. Mine is a Whirlpool Duet Washer with the above model #. The dryer is fine but my washer….. There is no error code just the light

Hello, I am in need of a reverse solenoid part #900414 for my Maytag WU701 dishwasher; it’s from 1982 and the exterior is in pristine condition and everything else works like a charm…except the part mentioned.

The part is no longer available and extensive google searches have come up empty. So, I thought I’d try to repair the part myself. It is a reverse solenoid to open the detergent door. Wondering if you might have any suggestions for me?
