I installed a new spark igniter part #WP9758079 and it worked. Customer called me a month later saying that oven is not working again. I go to check oven, when oven is turned on you can hear and smell the gas turn on, but when the igniter doesn’t turn on the gas will turn off. the boiler works. I changed the spark igniter with another new one and still oven doesn’t light, any thing would be helpful. Thanks Ricky

At first the bucket would not come out, it was frozen into place. I replaced the ice maker (DA97-07827b) . IT worked for two months, and froze up again. Again it was frozen and finally got the bucket out. Since then the Ice maker fill up and the water doesn’t freeze and runs into the bucket and runs out the bucket onto the shelves if not caught in time. It seems the ice room doesn’t get cold enough. What should the temperature get down to? Where does the freezing air come from? The Freezer? or Where? Could the air passage be frozen? I did see some frost in the freezer drawers. If so I need to know where the passage is. Should the ice maker sensor let the ice maker fill if the room is too warm? There were no error code stored in the memory. The freezer temp and refrig. temps were OK. When I last removed the ice maker it was full of water unfrozen.

I know what the C:00 means I was just describing what happens in the service mode. I have done all these tests but need some expertise on any specific reading on the flow meter ohms. It does change when water fills it but is it normal for the reading to be eratic? Could it be the CCU?
When I run the service test it only gets o C:00 fillswith cold then shows FH
Model Number
Mfw9600sq0
What have you tried so far?
I tested the fill switch. It is ok. The pressure tube is good. Hot and cold are fine. The pump and drain are ok. I checked the flow meter and the resistance is erratic. Is it the flow meter or what
What should it read?

WHEN I WAS FIRST CALLED THE CUSTOMER SAID THE FRIDGE WAS NOT RUNNING, BUT WOULD START IF YOU MANUALLY ROTATE THE DEFROST TIMER. I REPLACED THE DEFROST TIMER AND THEN HAD TO MANUALLY ROTATE IT TO GET THE FRIDGE TO START. IT SEEMED TO BE WORKING FINE, THEN I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE CUSTOMER THAT THERE IS WATER LEAKING OUT OF THE FRONT OF THE FRIDGE. I RETURNED AND FOUND THE DRAIN HOSE CLEAR, BUT THE DRIP TRAY WAS PUSHED FLAT AND THE UNIT WAS LEVEL. I PULLED UP THE TRAY AND TILTED THE UNIT BACK A LITTLE. OTHER THAN THE WATER LEAKING OUT OF THE FRONT THE CUSTOMER MENTIONED THAT THERE IS CONDENSATION ON THE FRIDGE WALL THAT IS NEXT TO THE FREEZER. I WAS READING THROUGH THE PAPER WORK FOR THE NEW DEFROST TIMER AND NOTICED THAT THERE ARE DIFFERENT WAYS TO CONNECT IT. IT IS THE EXACT TIMER THAT CAME OUT SO I PUT THE MOLLEX BACK ON THE SAME WAY, BUT THIS NEW TIMER HAD A SEPARATE GROUND THAT I DID NOT HOOK UP. COULD THIS BE MAKING THE TIMER DEFROST AT QUICKER INTERVALS, AND CREATING CONDENSATION IN THE FRIDGE, OR WAS THE WATER JUST FROM THE OVER FLOW TRAY? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS, TODD FROM NY.

oven only seems to turn on by itself every couple months and the thermostat would be off while running the only way to get it to shut off is by turning off the gas and Unplugging it to stop the the clicking (electrode lighting oven). The thermostat is $160+ and the DSI spark module for the oven is $160+. When I was there it seems to be working fine but the customer says that it does it every couple months where they would come home and find it clicking and running really hot. What do you guys suggest I replace? I’m clueless here.

We cleaned the vent and air duct complete and the temperature should be fine to us. On delecate option, the preset temperature is low; however, customer is not happy that he is not getting the low temperature. He thinks the temperature is still high after we ceaned the unit as much as we could. Is that the main board issue, temperature sensor, or normal? Thank you in advance. It is a Samsung Dryer.

We ran self diagnostics but no error codes came up. We tested the voltage coming into the compressor. The voltage was fluctuating. What is the voltage supposed to be? Is it supposed to be a steady 120, or is it supposed to fluctuate? It is a linear compressor.
Thank you in advance

I recently replaced a evap fan motor (PN#wr49x25197) and supposed to update software with provided kit.
Unplugged refrigerator & made repair, plugged back in and now the display keeps rebooting, and the ice / water dispenser does not work at all, and no buttons function.
I have tried the reboot procedure GE had told me to perform by unplugging between 30 and 45 seconds, no more than a minute. This did not correct the issue, the refrigerator seems to work along with the freezer, so no operational issues from the main controller.
Customer is PISSED off and I cant get any help from GE.
I did notice that when I initially re plugged in the refrigerator, the plug contact made a spark when engaged in to the outlet, and I know how electronics are sensitive to power issues.

Our Samsung French door fridge has an issue with water flow. Very little if any comes from the water dispenser and the unit has very little to no ice production in both top and bottom units. I have confirmed good water pressure in the supply line to the fridge. This issue seems to have started after a filter change several months ago. After changing filters, I did notice a reduction in water pressure from the door water dispenser. However, I contributed this to the filter. Upon changing the filter the next time, the water would dispense fine for a second or two, then quickly diminish to a very small trickle, or even stop all together. I have tried to run lots of water through it thinking it could have been an air bubble, but it never improved. I also put the old filter back in but had the same results. One time, after changing filters over again, the water pressure was back to normal, but it only lasted a few hours and went back to the trickle. I can hear the water valve activate in the back when depressing the water dispenser. I have raised the temp in the top (refrigerator) section for a couple weeks to see if something was frozen. Although I’m not convinced enough it was a freezing issue (due to the full pressure I had experienced when swapping filters) to pull everything out of the whole unit to let all warm up. I would be grateful for any suggestions anyone might have.

This oven is new, customer says that it has not worked since she moved in a few months ago. The igniter will glow, but the valve won’t open. I pulled an amp draw of 3.27 amps. We changed valve, still not lighting. Which part is bad?
