Kitchenaid sxs – Looking for details or the service manual for this. I only see one output for drainage at the back of the unit. Are the drains of the refrigerator and freezer tied together. It appears to be an obstruction not ice that is keeping water from draining from the refrigerator side. Dual evaporator system. thanks, Dan

I ohm the heaters out and it checked good. I’m not sure what else I can check.

There is no water in the ice maker tray. Water pressure is good. I tried the test switch and it did not actuate the cycle, rotate and fill. Is this a bad ice maker? The ice sensor test passed. There is good air flow. I did not get a good temperature.reading.

I am dealing with two of these unit. Too cold in fresh food compartment. I’ve check the Thermistors and replaced one of the boards. Driving me nuts. Needs some help.

We recently replaced ICE Maker however; customer is complaing that the ICE making process is very slow. Do you think the ICE Maker is defective or not puring water on the ICE maker consistantly? Or main board issue? Thank you for your support.

Customer said she heard a noise like an air compressor. She checked frig and found it was not cooling. She unplugged it.
When I arrived, I plugged unit in and compressor and fans came on. No unusual noises. This unit has an invertor board connected to the compressor. I unplugged frig, and inspected connections. Two minutes after unplugging, I plugged it back in and heard the compressor make several attempts to start before starting. Initially, I thought the invertor board may be bad, but in researching it, I found they either work or not. Is this true?
After the compressor started, I let the frig run. within 15 minutes, the freezer temp had dropped 12 degrees and was blowing cold air in the freezer from the evaporator fan. I left a message for the customer to check the temp and let me know but she has not returned my call.
Any suggestions?

Everything else works but the compressor and condenser fan. The tech sheet is missing. Is it the control board or what?

We have this refrigerator and compressor not starting at all. The inverter led, red light flashes 1 sec and do you think or inverter board? Samsung.

I see no place to cycle test the icemaker. The ice maker part number is aeq73130004. The ice bucket has water leaking in it. The ice maker has been replaced 2 times. I am trying to see where the leak is coming from. Thanks Ray

There is an air blowing sound as soon as you close the refrigerator, seems to it making sound from the ice maker, is this normal.

Customer is saying that there is a sound coming from Refrigerator or freezer but dont know where the sound is coming from.

TE ERRRCODE thermistor and main board have been replaced and still same problem, any feedback?

When I arrived it was on the normal dial setting and will not allow to change it. When I push start it flashes “err” . No error codes. When I press the cancel and start it flashes “err” and not error code. It will not cancel. There is not tech sheet in the unit. It makes no difference to unplug it for several minutes, it still come on the normal cycle and will not change from it and repeats the same symptoms. What does the “err” mean? Do you have a tech sheet or service manual and any experience you could share on this problem?

The dial will rotate but DOES NOT change from the normal setting. So I cannot do any diagnostics to it. It stay on the normal LED no matter where I rotate the dial, and if I press any button the “err” flashes. NOTHING Else happens. It won’t program or tell me any other code.

evaporator has no defrost heater, only the bottom freezer has a defrost heater and defrost timer. how does the refrigerator coils defrost? This problem of refrigerator coils freezing up only started in the pass 6 months and now happens all of the time.

we replaced with a new ice maker and we rest the ice maker seem to be no water dispensing ice maker do you think it the water freezing or water issue or valve is not working.

Every two months after defrosting manually an ice ball forms that stops fan from turning requiring manual defrost again.

Door doesn’t automatically shut is there a mechanism that closes the door.

I checked for continuity on the water inlet valve. None. Then I checked the continuity on the ice maker itself. None.

If there is no continuity on the ice maker, does that mean that it’s no good? I was told by another tech, that you really can’t tell if the ice maker is good or bad by testing the continuity.

Now I’m confused??

The customer was selfcleaning the oven and it went blank. I replaced the fuse PN 4451042 at the EOC. and then get the e1f2 code. I need the tech sheet. Does this code indicate a problem with the ribbon from the touch pad to the eoc? Any help appreciated.

the washer says check the pump. I tested the pump it works I changes the presser switch and the door locking switch any thoughts?
